The Presence Objective Observer
The objective observer is a presence you can go to to be more aware of what is going on in your life. I guide you to the place within where you can dwell in that state of mind. This is a talk and meditation on the objective observer.

A very big Aloha!
My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and I wanted to talk about a subject I feel is important today and that is the subject of judgments.
And I have been in this field most of all my life since I've been about 14 years old and there's times that change you know there's cycles and I believe the cycle we're in right now is a time where there's more extreme what our judgments of course about what's bad and what's good and a lot of that is political but a lot of that is also about what's going on in the world.
And I totally understand being aware of the changes and what's going on out there and sometimes the changes can be a little upsetting and disturbing but also I think it's good to see things from an objective observer point of view and trying to observe what's going on without reacting.
And I'm seeing a lot of reacting lately which I totally understand but the thing is how do we see what's going on as if we were on a higher plane seeing it objectively without the reaction.
And if that's the case then we can make our decisions our judgments or whatever you might want to call them about what we're gonna get engaged with or how I'm gonna or you are gonna respond to anything from an objective observer point of view.
Now this is a subject that's been going on for I don't know probably a couple thousand years the objective observer is not a new thing and it's been a practice that people have done for a very very long time and I think it probably did become started in its roots probably on in the ancient times when it was probably happening in India and places there where they were observing.
India's always had a lot of history and a lot of things going on and the teachers there of course were able to make that decision to be observing it from a spiritual point of view an awakened point of view and a lot of them did it in a way that was a little easier than it is to do it now.
A lot of the teachers actually went into retreat or completely removed themselves from the everyday world.
Now we aren't doing that as much these days we're much more involved in everyday activity and when you're involved in everyday activity it's much easier to get pulled into certain ideas judgments or people wanting your opinion on things and when you have your opinion and things going on it's very different than being somewhere in a retreat in a cave somewhere.
You can imagine.
So we aren't in caves we're not living that way but we are in the everyday world and we have to navigate our way of that we have our own center and our state of mind that can go into the objective observer and not engage in some of the political things that might be rather difficult to get involved with without making judgments.
And so because a lot of people want you to take sides now I've seen this more and more especially online and you probably have seen it as well.
Now we can have our own opinion but we don't have to necessarily engage in it and we can observe what's going on without necessarily reacting and there might come a point where you decide you have to be engaged and react and work in it and in that state in that particular case you can still be present in that objective observer point of view even while you're with others who are engaging and it's always helpful because it's a beautiful core that brings in more light and awareness to the situation.
I hope you understand it it's a difficult concept if you haven't practiced the gift of being an objective observer but as you practice it more and more you become more talented and you become more aware of it,
It becomes more second nature of just switching your state of mind to not engaging necessarily but observing of what's going on.
So this can be I think enhanced as we go into that state of meditation.
So we're going to take a little time here to go into that place,
That sacred place inside you where you can have that ability to go to the objective observer without being torn apart in either what's going on in the world or making judgments and once you have a core base of being aware of that place inside that is the objective observer it's more easily attained while you're engaged in conversation or things in the world.
So we always start with our wonderful gift of just being aware of breath because breath sweeps mind just breathe in just breathing in deeply oh and getting that neck straightened out there and just deep breath in and breathing out and as you just do nothing but be aware of your breath coming in and your breath coming out what you're doing here is helping your mind to have a focus to direct itself towards which is right now your breath your beautiful breath coming in and feeding your awareness as you go to the top of your consciousness and hold for a second or two and ah just releasing and breathing out and allowing that breath out to be present just breathing out breathing in and breathing out hmm very simply doing that breath that awareness breath in and out nothing to do but being aware of that breath and once you're centered in that awareness you can be aware of your feet how do your wonderful feet feel being aware of the feet and the calves the knees being grateful for the work of your legs your thighs being aware of the energy flowing through that wonderful spinal beautiful column of energy that goes there from the base of the spine and to the second chakra and being aware of that hmm and continuing to be aware of the third chakra and letting it move on up to your heart chakra that heart of your heart there within you that blessed point within be grateful for your heart ah go deep deep deep into that place that holds the center of your heart of your hearts now you may sense some more awareness of energy coming from your heart that expands out and let that expansion happen and you may expand it out around your entire body above you and below you and in front of you and behind you in a beautiful protective circle of light and breathing in and out allowing that consciousness to be aware of your third eye center and that beautiful light you might see if your eye is closed in your third eye center hmm and then continue to allow that energy to flow up your spine to the top of your head and your chakra that's at the very top of your entire consciousness there and now just be aware of what it's like to sense your beingness from the objective observer let your mind go to that point that is beyond your judgment area in your brain and switch your consciousness to that place there of awareness within the higher energy field of your soul consciousness and your objective observer what does that objective observer what does it feel like when you go there within yourself what do you sense in that sacred place of the observer it's a different way of viewing what's going on than your regular state of mind it gives you more light and more sense of expanded awareness than your mind that gets engaged in judgments see if you can be aware of how your objective observer senses and sees what's going on in your consciousness how does the objective observer work within your mind and you'll find you'll find that it's expansive beyond the limited capacity of what we have in our regular mind that is a judgment area there's the objective observer that can be aware without engaging in judgment breathe in and breathe out from that space of the objective observer now perhaps you like to take a particular subject or matter in your life that you might want to see things in that higher perspective of your objective observer think of something that you have been seeing come up and try to view that right now in fact just view it don't even try just view it from your objective observer point of view how do you feel this being different how do you sense what's going on from that higher perspective and now try to build the thread from the objective observer to your conscious mind and into the entire awareness that you have of your body mind and spirit all present there within you build that thread that bridge follow that bridge of consciousness into the conscious mind and slowly allow yourself to come back remembering what it was and how you observed objectively and take a moment to jot down right some way that you perceived that place within your objective observer from your conscious mind and in this way realize you are building that bridge between your conscious mind and your higher mind and slowly make sure you slowly feel comfortable and coming back 100% into your regular conscious mind and awareness feeling good and just breathing in deeply being very grateful as I am very grateful for you being here with me now I bow in gratitude and send my love
