My name is Reverend Cindy Paulus and I'm Very happy to be here with you today.
And I love talking about light.
My formal name is Lucinda,
And Lucinda means light,
And I've always been drawn to the light.
And the thing is about light,
Is there's a light beyond the light.
There's a universal light.
There's a light that enlightens us.
There's such a gift.
Precious gift.
In light.
And the thing is,
We don't necessarily see all of the light that exists in the universe.
But there's the light of creation.
The light of creation.
Is truly what was given in the beginning.
There was light.
God said,
Let there be light.
And that light has continued and continues on and on and on.
And we see that light as we're able to see.
And I have found through many years of meditation and looking within.
That there's an amazing light there that you can find if you go within.
And when you connect with that light of the universe.
There's a view of everything that you can see.
The view of the planet,
The view of the cosmos,
The view of your state of mind.
And when you understand things from that place.
That amazing place of light.
You understand.
The reason for being,
You know,
It's amazing at dawn.
I love watching the sunrise and watching the colors change with the light.
And the same with the sunset.
There's that magic moment.
Where the glow of that light is just tremendous.
Amazingly inspiring.
And I find that same thing happens when you go into meditation,
You go into that deep place within.
And you connect with that.
Beautiful light.
That you're lifted above the darkness that happens with thoughts that can sometimes cloud that light.
So it's always nice when you take the time to breathe and to go into meditation and to being there in that sacred place inside yourself.
To let that light expand and to call in that light and to be present in that light.
I wrote a piece and I want to share it with you about the light,
The light of the universe that I'm going to share with you now.
This was a lovely piece that I wrote.
The sound of Your light dances across the universe and echoes in the hallways of all time and space as soft the petals of the one flower fall to surround that soul to journey on with love's sweet call.
It is in the ringing of the bells at dawn that the call is heard by all and the living breath of grace softly comes and goes and surrenders the mind to let God's will be known.
This love that forgives us and joins us all It returns and gives us the key that lives within us eternally.
And all the prayers we have prayed are finally set free to fly to heaven with the flight of life's sweet memory.
Let your soul find the wings of the heart's true love.
Let the mind be open to what was here and gone with the work now done.
And so the crack of the shell lets the light come to be and brings us a brand new awakening.
And the ones who have gathered are blessed.
And it's all finally done with the soft sound of light that flows through the rays of the sun.
As onward we go on the eternal path,
Till we find we are all joined as one in God's plan and design with the coming and going,
Now here and now gone.
