Aloha.

I'm Rev.

Cindy Palos and I wanted to talk about the wonder,

The wonder of being alive,

The magic of just being.

We get so overburdened by the world situation and the news and everything we have to do.

And I know I,

Believe me,

I understand that.

I've gone through some very,

Very challenging times myself.

I had a stroke and when I had that stroke,

It turns out that I'm,

Thank God I can talk,

But I can't read anything anymore.

So,

But you know,

There's,

There's always a way,

You know,

It's where there's a will,

There's a way,

But there's more than that.

It's that spirit of,

Of believing and of keeping a positive energy and of hope.

And that comes with this,

This sense of wonder,

The sense of the magic of life.

You see this in a child,

You know,

You see this as a child grows up,

But you know,

It starts to get lost as children grow.

And,

You know,

Usually by the age of five or six or seven,

There starts to be that other part that tries to conform and,

And fit into everything,

You know,

And,

And,

And it gets lost sometimes,

But it's still there somewhere,

You know,

Maybe in dreams or maybe in the fantasy or maybe in what you read or,

But there is always this part,

This little bit of wonder that comes alive.

And I think I really cherish that when I see a movie that carries that kind of magic.

When I listened to a song,

I was listening to a Van Morrison song just the other day and it,

It was,

It said,

Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder?

And it just really touched me so much that I wanted to talk about that.

If you just,

If you just take a moment and you think of all the amazingly beautiful things you see in the course of a day,

From when you wake up to when you look outside and you see the beauty of nature,

The rising sun,

The clouds,

The art that is in our world,

I,

I can't even list all the amazing things.

And I do love music and I do love art because sometimes the art and the music can say more than the words,

Because when we put words out there,

We have to be careful because they have sometimes limitations and everyone has an interpretation of what certain words mean,

Right?

But I find when you really open yourself up to that magic,

To that beauty,

That wonder of life in a childlike sense,

That you can allow this amazing energy of light to come through and literally you can lighten yourself up.

And I think it's more important in these heavy times.

I think it's more important than ever.

We are being bombarded by news.

We're being bombarded by information.

There's more and more and more input.

And it seems like there's more things trying to accelerate the fact that you can do more input quickly,

But sometimes you just need to stop,

To pause and to just be.

And in that being,

Allow that sense of magic,

That wonder,

That inner part of you,

That inner child to come out and,

And speak to you and to embrace you and to allow you to see what you may have been too busy or too burdened down with to see.

It is so cathartic.

It's so healing.

It is so inspiring to just be in that amazing state of receiving the wonder and seeing the wonder and being aware of where awareness can take you.

Awareness is an amazing thing,

Isn't it?

What are you aware of right now?

I mean,

Here I am talking,

But if I were to stop talking for a little while,

Which I'm going to,

And if we were just to pause and allow ourselves to experience that magic,

That wonder,

That gift of being alive here now,

You might find this beautiful childlike energy that is there always with you,

But gets buried by our to-do list,

By our awareness of what's going on in the world.

So,

I'm going to allow you to just be here now and to open that door,

That magical door to the wonder of being alive right here,

Right now.

Just be.

Just breathe.

Open that door,

That door that knows the truth of that wonder of the true you that is here right now.

And let that light,

That magical light of wonder,

Come into your whole being,

Coming to you from your head,

Your inner part of your heart.

Allow yourself to be aware of the good,

Of the grace,

Of the beauty of being alive.

Just let it fill your entire body and mind and your heart.

Just be surrounded in that magic of the wonder.

Breathe in,

Be in spirit,

Inspired,

And feel how it opens up the possibilities of your life to you right here,

Right now.

You are a living miracle.

You are beautiful.

You are magical.

You are spirit in form.

What a great gift.

Honor this part of you.

Be grateful,

So very grateful for this wonderful gift of being alive.

And slowly we're going to come out of meditation,

Of meditation recharged,

Revitalized,

Renewed,

Restored to the beauty and to the magic of who you are.

I thank you from my heart for allowing yourself this wonderful time of just being.
