The self always brings about confusion,
Turbulence,
In spite of some occasional pleasure.
The self itself is a battlefield,
And the mind is trapped in that self-centered view.
This is me,
And this is you,
This forever division between you and me.
Such a mind simply can't understand the totality unless the mind ends the self totally,
Else the perception is completely distorted by the self,
By the fragments.
In that distorted perception,
The totality is not.
So,
Doing all this,
The mind has to be humble.
A humble mind is a mind that is able to empty itself,
So the mind stays unknown.
So the mind can inquire to understand the totality,
Else the mind is trapped in the knowing.
The mind feels that it knows everything,
Therefore such a mind stops learning and continues being trapped in all kinds of fragments.
So to understand totality is to act upon it,
That is to live a total life.
To live a life where the life is not dominated by thoughts,
Where there's no division between you and me,
Where there's care,
There's compassion,
Where the mind is learning,
Observing,
Without being caught up in conclusions,
Views,
Opinions.
Meditation is to surely act,
Is to live,
Live in truth,
Act upon the truth,
The totality,
To really embody the totality,
Or else the totality is only our idea.
The mind is always translating the totality into an idea if the mind,
If the life,
Doesn't act.
So meditation is an art of acting.
And only in acting,
The real life,
The authentic life,
Is really here,
This moment.
