**Note: If one is not really peaceful right now, it might not be a good moment to listen to this podcast. Seeking security destroys security, what is left is fear. This talk is actually a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively and peacefully, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Look around,

So many people are seeking security,

The psychological security.

But that very seeking creates the fear,

Creates the uncertainty.

The mind is trapped by the self.

The self thinks,

Okay,

I'm insecure,

I need to find security.

So I need to seek security.

But the fact is,

The more I seek security,

The more I feel insecure.

The very seeking of security destroys the security.

Then the fear kicks in.

Propelled by fear,

The mind even seeks more security,

Creating more issues.

It's like a vortex.

The mind is purely trapped by this,

By the self-deception,

By the incessant fear.

The mind is tricked by the self.

When the mind doesn't seek,

The mind is extremely secure,

Very very secure.

When the mind is really peaceful,

The mind never concerns about security.

When the mind is turbulent,

The mind is full of craving for security.

To understand deeply about this self-deception is a part of meditation.

Because the self-deception,

The mind is propelled by some misperception to seek.

In that very seeking,

The self is enhanced.

The problem is perpetuated.

The fear is also perpetuated.
