**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Look around our life,

Which is full of thoughts,

Concepts,

Ideas.

Therefore which is also full of all kinds of divisions,

Contradictions.

The duality itself creates the division,

Creates the confusion.

When the mind is in contradiction,

The mind is confused.

Such a mind inevitably encounters issues.

So to examine our life,

Our inner world,

The world,

Is to really understand the consequence of the duality,

The division in all kinds of ways.

Where there is division,

There is mental conflict.

Therefore we suffer.

However,

The modern society to some extent is built on the duality in all kinds of ways.

For example,

We have divided the work days and the weekend.

On work days,

We have already got used to working,

Working hard,

Working full time.

And on weekends,

We are trying to relax ourselves.

But why do we divide the whole week into work days and the weekend?

The speaker doesn't contaminate,

But just inquire into this.

Because there is division,

Because work days and weekends are actually a concept.

To live in this society,

We are all conforming to the pattern of the society.

So we accept this without really questioning it.

But where there is division,

There is conflict.

So can we observe the impact of this division between the work days and weekends,

Working days and holidays on us?
