**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listening attentively and with humility. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, not agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Transcript

To be able to inquire into the self,

This very mysterious,

Very important place which is concerned about the whole life,

We have to accept this moment fully.

Simply be with it.

Just be with what is.

Do it,

And see your reaction to it.

See all kinds of judgment popping up from the mind,

All kinds of labeling.

Just say it.

Don't say it's right or wrong,

It's good or bad.

Just say it.

In that saying,

Which means that there's no justification,

There's no condemnation,

In that saying,

The reaction stops.

So that's the meaning of the acceptance.

Fully accept this moment.

Be with what is.

In that being,

The mind is observing.

So this is the objective observance,

Which is there's only observance without the observer,

Because the observer is still a me.

Where there is me,

There is judgment.

There's all kinds of justification,

Condemnation,

Incessant narratives.

And the mind is trapped in light.

Therefore there's no observance at all.
