I'd like you now to close your eyes and observe your breathing,

The thing is,

When we are anxious,

We take shallower breaths which make us breathe faster,

I'd like you to make peace with each breath.

You don't have to make any adjustments to your breathing,

Just reassure your breath that it's ok.

The idea is to connect and communicate with your breathing,

And as you do,

You will observe your breathing cycle begin to slow by itself.

Talk with your breath,

Have compassion with your breath,

As you show yourself compassion,

Every breath calming down,

Slowly becoming longer in length and slightly deeper,

You are doing fantastically.

You can now begin to feel that you are in sync with each slower breath in and slower breath out.

Feel this different flow and cycle begin to relax your body,

As your muscles loosen.

Now you can take this further by asking your breath to expel any negativity from your mind,

You can request it to remove mind chatter,

An image or a memory.

Being composed,

You ask your breath to take it away as you exhale.

This can be done in one breath,

Or as many as you need.

You can also visualise this happening by seeing your concern being drawn from your mind and out as you exhale.

You may sense a relief in pressure in or behind your eyes,

As you continue ousting any bothersome thoughts.

Observe your face muscles,

Especially in your cheeks and mouth,

As they soften and descend.

You can now take a moment to allow things to settle,

As you adjust to the more relaxed sensations and thoughts that you experience.

Now taking your focus and attention to your neck and throat area,

The place where communication and truth is spoken,

I'd like you to begin letting go of any words,

Phrases or whispers of hurt and self doubting words.

Ask your breath to take with it these words that have been retained,

So that you can move on.

As you breathe in,

Make your request and then allow your breath to release these words as you exhale.

You may feel the base of your skull loosen and your jaw opening,

Providing a gap for the words to escape.

As your breath takes with it these words,

Out and into the atmosphere,

Your neck becomes more comfortable and your throat widens.

You are doing great,

Bringing your attention to your chest now,

A place where hardships and pangs for change dwell.

You have it in you to let go of these feelings,

All you have to do is ask your breath to take them away.

I'd like you to make your request with your breath now,

Asking if it would accept its duty to your wellbeing to expel those harboured negativities.

As the request is made,

You feel them being collected in your next inhalation,

And then vacuumed out,

Your chest,

Shoulders and neck feel alleviated from the diluting process of sending away those bothersome sensations.

Your neck has a sense of freedom,

Your shoulders are loose,

Your chest is calmer,

Bringing a softness to the sides of your ribcage and under your arms.

Perhaps you feel as though you can breathe easier now,

Or maybe notice that you can settle down more comfortably.

Have a moment to enjoy the new peacefulness that you have found,

Shifting your focus now to your abdomen,

This is an area of your body that notifies you of frustration and anxious feelings.

Your breath now knows your intention,

And begins to gather those frustrations and anxieties in the next breath in,

Again,

There is no need for you to change the way that you breathe,

Visualising will suffice.

Observe the complete deflation of your top half now,

As the negative energy is sent up through your body and out with your breath,

A sense of relief may be felt,

Perhaps even a quiet in your mind.

Take a few moments to let yourself unwind into this more peaceful offering,

The top half of your body is now relaxed and settled,

Descending with tranquility.

Move your awareness now to your thighs,

A part of your body that holds you up in times of stress and overwhelm.

You can make the request for your breath to relieve your thighs,

Or simply let it happen.

As you breathe in,

Your breath pulls out any stress or feelings of overwhelm,

Just like a magnet,

Your thighs expand and relax.

As you feel all negative energy drain up and out with your breath,

Each thigh becoming looser,

Settling easily downwards on the soft surface below.

You may be feeling slightly sleepy now,

It's perfectly fine for you to completely let go.

This moment is as good a time as any to deepen the healing effect with rest.

Allow your mind to go blank if you want to,

Or you could think of a pleasing scene that brings joy to your soul.

You now have a choice of how you feel from the releasing process that you have achieved so far.

Take a moment to find your peace.

You may well now be drifting in and out of sleep,

But your subconscious will continue to detox any negative energies.

If you are falling asleep,

Your subconscious will remain listening,

Your focus is now on your calves and lower legs,

Where the idea of moving forward is kept.

Perhaps you feel as if you have found it hard to move forward.

Softly speak with your breath,

Allow it to know.

As your breath begins drawing out what holds you back,

Your knees gently unlock,

Slowly bringing your calves and shins down to a restful space beneath.

They may feel heavy as they are cleared and purified by your breath,

Your legs now becoming very heavy,

Sinking down with an exhilarating abundance of tranquility and clearness.

Bring your next inward breath down to your feet and ankles,

A place that provides direction when making decisions.

You will begin to sense that your compass is beginning to offer a more truthful and grounded view of which paths you can take,

As your legs find a restful space to relax and calm.

You take your awareness to your arms,

Your arms provide the strength to get through things and also hold you up.

With the rest of your body now cleansed and rejuvenated,

You can allow your arms the rest that they need.

From this moment on,

Your decisions,

Way of thinking and motivation to move forwards is assured.

As you breathe in,

Your breath takes away any tension and discomfort of worry and upset,

Your biceps and triceps reduce in size,

Lowering down,

As too,

To your forearms.

Relaxing greatly now,

Your breath sends away your aches and replaces them with a calm stillness,

Both arms now heavily resting.

Perhaps your breathing has deepened as you relax more,

So much so that your breath reaches your hands and wrists,

Your hands and wrists give your perspective by grasping onto the present,

And also have the function that enables you to express yourself.

As your breath brings out any blockages,

Your grasp of the present is regained,

As well as your freedom of expression to now be yourself completely,

Without any restrictions.

Here and now is the true you,

As you continue to breathe in a calm and relaxed fashion,

Your breath nurtures your heart area,

You may feel this as a warm sensation in your chest where self love is being restored.

With each breath,

Your confidence,

Your self esteem,

Your true unhindered personality will begin to shine through.

As you receive this healing gift from your breath,

You will bathe in the peacefulness that you feel in this moment.

Every part of you will relax,

Your mind will clear further,

And you will have the best night's sleep you will ever have.

Accept this moment,

And the healing that your breath sends down,

As you just,

Let go.

Your breath is sending healing to every part of your body,

Including your mind.

You are receiving self love,

To heal yourself.

In every breath,

There is relaxation and peace.

You accept the calming nature of each and every breath,

As you relax,

Your mind clears further,

As your mind clears,

Your body relaxes more,

You are in control of how much of this tranquil state that you want to experience.

You can always go deeper,

As your body rests,

It becomes heavier,

As your body becomes heavier,

Your mind lowers the volume of any thoughts,

There is nothing to think about in this moment,

All you have to do is rest.

Breathing and sleeping replenishes your confidence,

Your direction and positivity.

You feel no tension in your body,

Your mind is quiet and clear to enjoy this moment.

You are completely present,

Unless you are now asleep,

If you are asleep,

You will continue to heal with each breath.

You go in any direction you please,

You are not restricted by negativity,

Your mind and body is now full of positivity,

You have a firm grasp of the present,

With a clear and focused mind,

You can release stress,

Worry and anxious thoughts by allowing your breath to take them away,

In this moment,

You just let go and sleep.
