Just take a moment to find a comfortable position.

Lengthen out the spine,

Close the eyes or take a soft gaze.

Just settle in and enjoy your seat you weary warriors.

Just take a moment before we start to connect yourself to your breath.

Feel the natural breath enter and leave you.

No effort required.

Use the opportunity also to scan yourself physically and emotionally.

See how you're feeling.

I described you a moment ago as weary warriors because we are all invariably fighting on at least one if not multiple fronts in our lives.

Those battles can be minor skirmishes or maybe entrenched warfare with ourselves or other people or other situations.

Even if you've never viewed yourself as a warrior before indulge yourself picture in your mind's eye how you'd look.

The heavy armour you'd be wearing.

Take a moment to reflect on how it feels,

The weight of the armour.

How even the small little battles we have on a day-to-day basis can take their toll,

Can shape us and help us lose track of who we really are.

Notice your dusty,

Dirty armour covered in dents,

Covered in sweat and blood.

Feel the weight of it,

How restricting it is and how strangely comforting it's become.

Gently remove your armour in your mind's eye bit by bit.

However your armour looks to you,

Remove it in sections.

Feeling how it becomes easier to breathe,

The weight's lifting.

There's no rush.

We'll have a lot of armour to remove,

Maybe layers or carefully interlinked,

Doing such a good job at protecting you,

Getting you to where you are now.

When you've removed your armour,

Imagine your body,

The base layer you'd be wearing underneath,

Scan the body,

Notice how tired you are,

Your muscled arms and torso,

Exhausted,

Dirty,

Battered and scarred.

Then notice how you feel mentally,

Battle-weary,

Underlying feeling of being lost,

Rudderless,

As though you've forgotten your path,

You've lost who you are,

Where you're heading,

Maybe you're even scared to explore or re-identify with the real you.

Maybe this role of the warrior has consumed you,

People only recognise you,

Maybe even you only recognise you in your armour.

Continue to focus on your breath,

Centring you,

Helping you to connect to the real you.

The more you focus inwards,

Channeling that intense energy that you possess into your inner landscape,

You may start to hear your inner voice,

A silent whisper within each of us,

A whisper we so often ignore or repress,

Let alone entertain.

Don't be scared of that inner voice and what it may say,

Indulge yourself,

Listen to the real you.

You start to notice as you connect your breath and start to listen to your inner whisper,

How the unarmoured form of yourself as a warrior starts to crumble like ash in the gentle breeze of your natural breath.

Tiny little bit by tiny little bit,

Your form starts to disintegrate like ash.

Feel the sense of liberation,

Realising that this outer form of the warrior you is just another layer of armour.

You start to feel a slight tingling of excitement,

The realisation starting to remove these layers,

Enjoying slowly starting to connect to you.

Eventually the last of the warrior you disappears off in the natural breeze of your breath,

Leaving you in a spirit form,

A form of energy,

Your pure essence,

Your consciousness.

Picture in your mind's eye how that may look and become it.

Don't overthink it,

Just feel that energy,

Feel the real divine you.

From this new form,

Notice a large golden egg before you.

The more you observe the egg,

The more you feel drawn to it,

Irresistibly.

The more you draw your awareness to it,

The more detail you notice of it,

Its size,

Intricate writing and patterns that only you understand.

You feel drawn as though it's calling you,

Let your mind's eye embellish the details.

You notice your egg is sat in some sort of nest,

Ornate wooden nest,

Beautifully made,

Intricate wooden latticing lined with some form of red feathers,

These feathers stunning,

With tints of rainbow peacock markings feathering the nest,

Cradling this magnificent egg.

The more you breathe in your natural breath,

The more you focus,

The more you allow the calling of this egg,

The more you notice about the ornate markings.

The eyes,

Almost as if they're clearing,

Focusing,

Notice that some of these markings are actually cracks,

Cracks in the egg caused by heartbreak,

Failures,

Defeats,

Emotional trauma,

Criticism,

Self-doubts and so much more that we experience as we battle our way through life.

It feels like a surprise to you,

Having just taken so long to remove so many layers of armour you thought had been protecting you so well.

The realisation that this egg at the heart of you has been damaged,

That you're still drawn to it,

A deep longing to learn more.

You feel as though this egg holds the key to you,

The real you,

The you that you may not even have met yet and certainly no one else has.

Your calling,

Your strengths,

Gifts,

Your unique song that the world must hear.

You feel drawn and compelled to learn more so you can share the real you.

Keep breathing,

Not forced,

Just natural.

Realise the connection between your breath,

Your inner focus and the desire and the ability to learn to become the real you.

The more you focus,

The more you notice a bright light starting to creep out between those cracks within the shell,

An intense,

Alluring but powerful light.

The more your breath seems to flame that light,

The more you believe,

The more you absorb,

The stronger it becomes.

The cracks starting to creep slightly wider and then you notice the feathers and the nest start to smoke.

Embers start to appear,

Very faint red glows,

But your breath starts to fan.

The more you connect to your natural breath,

The faster the flames start to appear,

Consuming the nest and your egg.

The larger the flames,

The bigger the cracks appear on your egg.

Yet even the flames are alluring.

You don't fear any fear,

Strangely excitement.

With an almighty crack,

You see this beautiful phoenix burst from your egg.

Notice the beauty of this magnificent bird,

Deep reds,

The peacock tail,

Broad wings,

A beautiful cry,

Stunning eyes and shining beak.

Let your mind's eye and imagination colour in the rest of your phoenix,

Your unique phoenix.

You're captivated by the flight of this bird.

Feel compelled now to become your phoenix.

Feel yourself speed through the air and become your phoenix,

The eyes of the phoenix becoming yours.

Look through those eyes,

Feel the phoenix every inch of you,

Your arms becoming the wings,

Your legs becoming the tail feathers.

Now fly as your phoenix.

Don't fly in a straight line,

Swoop,

Duck,

Swirl,

Duck and dive.

Feel the freedom of being the real you,

Constrained by nothing.

Savour it,

Indulge yourself with it,

No limits,

See your path,

Feel the direction,

Notice this natural inherent calling in you.

This connection with the real you,

You may not have had for a long time or ever before.

Feel the strength,

Feel the talents,

Creativeness and abilities you have within you.

As if you're panning for gold,

Discovering it for the first time.

Even if you can't quite define in your mind's eye what those feelings are,

The more you sip,

The more time you spend as your phoenix,

The more you'll learn about yourself,

About your true calling,

About your bird song.

Feel that growing desire to share that song with the world.

Enjoy the flight,

Noticing that behind wherever you fly,

It's a trail of flame,

Sparkling gold dust,

Leaving a trail,

Enjoy it,

Soar,

Liberate it.

I invite you now to leave your phoenix,

To fly just in front of you,

Return back to your energy form,

Whatever you wish to call it,

But notice how that beautiful phoenix,

Your phoenix,

Still flies just in front of you.

Notice the flamey,

Golden,

Sparkly trail it leads.

I invite you now to return back to your warrior form.

There's no rush still connected to your breath.

With every natural breath,

The warrior you returned into physical flesh form.

You notice there's a difference.

Physically,

You feel stronger,

Cleaner,

Energized and focused.

You feel revitalized,

Reborn.

You notice that your armor is different,

That you start to put on.

It's shiny,

Clean,

But most noticeably it's lighter,

Stronger,

More agile,

Even better than the old,

Loyal armor you had before.

You're enjoying this feeling of agility that it gives you,

Flexibility.

Then your eye is drawn back to your phoenix,

You notice that every time you look to the skyline,

Your phoenix appears,

The trail it leaves,

The phoenix is calling to you,

As is your path,

Guiding you,

Regardless of what's happening in your life.

You realize your phoenix will always be with you,

Guiding you,

Savor that feeling.

It doesn't matter how many failures,

How many setbacks you have in your life,

You can always become your phoenix again.

Let yourself rise up from the ashes,

Trust in your inner voice,

And step forward into the rest of your day feeling reborn,

Energized,

Comforted in the knowledge you can look to your horizon,

The trail,

And the glimpse of your beautiful phoenix.

I invite you to come back to your space,

Keep the eyes closed,

Just sit for a moment,

Absorbing the stillness and the sensations within you.

Bring your palms together at your front,

And rub them vigorously together,

Creating that heat,

Remnant of the flames from your phoenix.

And place the balls of the hands on the eyes,

Keep them closed,

Enjoy the warmth,

Soothing your eyes and your eyelids.

And when you're ready and there's no rush,

Open the eyes behind your cupped hands,

Let the eyes adjust to the darkness.

When you're ready,

Slowly move those palms away,

Letting the lights creep in,

Release the arms down,

And just sit for a moment longer.

Sit in your warrior form,

Guided by your phoenix.

The light in me sees and salutes the light within you.

Namaste.

I really enjoyed that. The background music feels a little loud compared to the voice so it was a little hard to hear but the visuals were wonderful. Thank you.
