Life is like an ocean,
Expansive,
Sometimes subtle and smooth,
Other times complex,
Fierce,
And volatile.
Like the ocean's water,
We flow and adjust.
The anticipated morning sunrise brings warmth as it gracefully wraps us with comfort and peace.
The light that is embraced and calmly nudges us reflection.
As the ocean sifts,
Filters,
Absorbs,
And cleanses,
So do our bodies,
Awakened to renew.
Evaporation occurs and we long for the sky's water to refresh and return hydration once more.
Like the ocean,
We are complex and wise to the unexpected and unforeseen nature.
When unpredictable forces occur,
We feel the violent winds increase,
Experience the torrential rain,
And we build strength to endure the surge.
What's found within our bellies is strewn and mixed.
As our expansion happens,
Unwelcome destruction is left in its path and we search for the gift of wisdom.
We long for the waters to recede and for clarity to replace the current murky and mysterious.
We embrace healing and growth and the necessity of solitude and silence.
Oh,
How we long to feel dancing feet and hear the sweet sound of laughter circling us.
Through sunsets and sunrises,
We endure with patience.
Glimmers of hope rise,
Color returns,
And we are blessed to feel soft,
Soothing flutters and swaying tickles.
Blue skies reveal sparkles and appreciation abounds.
Our entire beings are nourished and our glow shares joy.
New life is born and the process unfolds once more.
Life is like the ocean,
Abundance of all of it.
