Let your eyes close softly.
Feel the weight of your body sink down into whatever is holding you.
Together we take three slow breaths.
Into the nose.
And out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
.
.
Out through the mouth.
And in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Before we journey inwards,
We take a moment to honor the directions and we call in the medicine wheel.
We place ourselves consciously within this great circle of life that holds us.
And we'll begin by calling in the South,
The summer season that we are saying farewell to for now.
Full of sun and fire.
We thank you,
South,
For the abundance and the growth,
For the warmth and the aliveness of the months just passed.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
And we call in the west of autumn.
Of the water energy.
The welcoming sensation of the autumnal energy.
While we turn in.
And we begin to slow down into reflection.
And acknowledging anything that is ready to come to an end or to shift or release.
Thank you.
And we call in the North the energy of winter and earth and deep breath.
A place of quiet wisdom.
Of healing,
Of hibernation.
Of darkness.
And nurturing.
And then we call in the East.
The spring energy of new beginnings and rising suns,
Of visions and possibilities,
Of trust,
The place where we plant seeds.
And were brave enough to wait for them to come at the right time and the right moment.
Thank you.
And we call to the earth beneath us to Pachamama,
Ancient,
Still energy.
And we call to the sky above to Pachapapa,
To the infinite divine wisdom that guides us.
And then back to ourselves,
The centre pointed and tall,
Experiencing all the seasons,
The earth beneath us,
The sky above.
And bring your awareness fully into every part of your body.
Especially now,
Being aware of the soles of your feet.
Invite a connection of your energy down to the soles of the feet.
Down into the ground.
Your anchor,
Your roots for this journey.
Now just for a moment witness the year gone by.
Go back to the start of the calendar year to January,
Where you were,
How it felt.
February.
Any memories or.
.
.
Chapters of your story that come to mind.
And then into March,
Into the beginning of spring.
What came alive for you in April?
Or may.
And something that stands out for you in June or July.
And the month just gone,
August.
And then landing here in September and into the equinox.
How have you grown?
There's a person.
As a soul.
As someone moving through this extraordinary journey of life.
Maybe you connected to a resilience that you didn't even know you had.
Maybe there was a difficulty or a truce that you finally faced.
Maybe you discovered creativity.
Or maybe there was a personal victory that no one else witnessed but you.
Maybe something within you healed.
Something shifted.
Have you deepened a connection with yourself over these past few months?
Place a hand on your heart and acknowledge whatever has come to your awareness.
And maybe some of those things are what you would like to carry forward into this next season,
This next chapter,
And maybe some of them you want to put down.
And let go.
Because the West does ask for honesty in it.
It asks you what is ready to fall.
So with a soft,
Open heart.
Is there something from this year that you are ready to release.
It may well be a story.
You've been telling about yourself that no longer fits the person that you are now.
It might be a way of living or working or relating that served you at one point,
But now it's run its course.
It might be a resentment or a grief or a disappointment that has been quietly draining your energy for months.
Or it may simply be the exhaustion of the year,
The accumulated weight of the doing,
The holding and the showing up.
And the tiredness and this energy that needs to be composted and shifted.
So you can start to create space to grow something new.
And look at this letting go as lovingly as you would watch a leaf float from a branch.
A leaf doesn't fail when it falls off.
It completes a cycle.
It finishes the season beautifully and returns to the earth where it becomes something new.
And there is no loss in that.
It's the most natural thing in the world.
And whatever you are releasing in this moment,
It's the same.
It has completed the season in you and it is ready to fall.
Take a slow breath in.
And on a slow,
Cool exhale,
Feel it loosening like the leaf whose stem is finally separated,
Not pulled,
Not forced,
Just released.
Gratefully,
Gently.
And just let that leaf,
That thing,
That energy,
Just let it fall,
Let it move down through the body.
Down through those roots,
Down into the earth.
Composted into wisdom,
Into richness,
Into.
.
.
Into Pachamama.
Thank you and Goodbye.
Thank you and.
.
.
Goodbye and feel the space that has been created.
This space where in time eventually something new could grow.
And as we step into autumn now.
Stepping into the darker half of the year.
What do you wish to carry with you?
Not a goal,
Not an achievement,
Not a plan.
But more something like rest.
Or presence.
Or trust.
Just one word.
One energy.
And we'll plant that like a seed in the deep,
Dark,
Fertile soil of autumn.
The kind that will hold that seed for you all through autumn and into winter.
Nurturing it,
Nourishing it.
And then maybe in spring.
Will rise exactly the right moment.
And this is your intention.
At this dark healing part of the year.
Three slow,
Deep breaths,
Feeling the whole body into the nose and out to the mouth.
Into the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Into the nose and out to the mouth.
Thank the West for holding you now.
For the permission to release.
For the permission to let go.
We thank the full circle,
All the seasons,
The South,
The West,
The North,
The East.
The earth beneath us and the sky above.
And us in the center,
Witnessing it all.
With deepest autumn equinox blessings and honoring the west node of the medicine wheel.
Holding yourself in love holding yourself gently.
Holding yourself in compassion.
Namaste.
