Hi,

My name is Shinwa Hawk and I'd like to welcome you to our five minute morning meditation.

Please take a moment to make sure that you're in a safe and comfortable environment.

Feel free to lie down or sit up.

It's totally up to you.

Now close your eyes and let's get started with a few deep breaths.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

If it's hard to breathe through your nose,

Then just use your mouth.

That's okay.

Now with your eyes closed,

Let's take a deep breath in.

Now breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

You are smart.

You are prepared.

You are ready to have an amazing day.

Now take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

You are smart.

You are prepared.

You are ready to have an amazing day.

Take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

And now with your eyes still closed,

Take a moment and smile and repeat after me,

I am smart.

I am prepared.

I am ready to have an amazing day.

Let's do it again.

I am smart.

I am prepared.

I am ready to have an amazing day.

Now take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Now pay attention to your body.

Wiggle your fingers around.

Wiggle your toes around.

You are feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy a beautiful day.

Now wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a great big hug.

Take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Now open your eyes.

Take another deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

Now you are ready to go and have an amazing day.

And remember,

If ever you are feeling bad,

You can always come back to your breathing.

Just remember to take a deep breath in and breathe out slowly.

And just keep doing that until you feel better.

Now go and have an amazing day because you are amazing.

This was WONDERFUL! I have been trying to introduce my son to meditation & calming with the breath. This was the 1st meditation that was able to engage him & create a positive experience. So appreciative! πŸ’œ
