Being a leaf.
In this meditation,
You'll be guided through a visualization.
Of being a leaf.
This symbolizes the energy of the universe It is invisible.
But you can't feel it.
And you either struggle against it or you find a way to flow with it.
You become natural.
Just like a leaf.
So here,
If you like,
You can allow your eyes to close You can allow the body to relax.
You can take a few deep breaths.
And just for a little while,
Envision yourself as a leaf.
Still attached to the branch.
And the twig.
And the tree.
Are there lots of other leaves around you?
Are you all by yourself?
You could feel how the wind moves you resting here.
Attached.
But not clinging.
And just notice if there might be any resistance to the fall that will come.
And if you can,
Possibly releasing this resistance.
Still attached.
But not clinging.
And in a moment,
I will play the sound of a singing bull.
And this will indicate the moment at which your leaf falls from the tree.
Still attached.
But not clinging.
Open to the moment at which you will fall.
Along with the sound of the singing bowl.
Whenever it comes.
And now just allowing your leaf to fall.
Moving with this invisible energy of the wind.
The energy of the universe If you like,
You could even allow the body to move in this way,
Swaying back and forth.
Flowing with the energy of the universe.
All of our leaves.
Falling together.
And now gradually landing on the ground.
Than just resting here on the grass.
Taking in the sky.
The warmth of the sun.
And witnessing.
Where you came from.
And allowing yourself to be reborn.
And here,
In a moment,
I'll play the sound of the singing bowl once more.
And this will indicate.
A new beginning.
In the same way that the seasons change,
The leaf falls.
And a new cycle begins.
Being reborn.
In three.
.
.
Two.
One.
And now if your eyes were closed You can gradually allow them to open.
Whenever they feel like it.
You can take a few deep breaths.
Allow the body to move however it wants to move.
Feeling this energy of beginning again.
You could imagine each day this way.
You wake up.
The leaf begins to fall from the tree.
You flow with the energy of the universe,
The wind of the present moment that is not in your control but you can flow with it.
And then,
At the end of the day.
.
.
You rest upon the ground once again.
And you allow for a new beginning.
Still attached.
But not clinging.
