Allow your eyes to simply look up toward the top of your head.
And as if you could imagine a hole through the top of your head going directly above you.
Allow your eyes to strain just a little bit,
Looking up that high.
And simply hold your eyes there for a moment or two.
And now gently and easily close your eyes.
And as you're so comfortable there,
Now with your eyes closed,
Settling in your body,
In exactly the way that feels right for you.
Perhaps you can imagine yourself sitting in a comfortable,
Easy chair.
Maybe it's a reclining chair,
And there is soft fabric underneath you.
And that chair feels so light and airy,
As if you were lying on a cloud now.
A cloud of complete comfort,
Almost as though you were floating on that cloud.
So soft,
So gentle.
And you notice in your imagination the room around you.
Perhaps there is a candle burning there.
And as the flame flickers,
You notice the walls and the windows.
And perhaps you notice a soft carpeting on the floor,
Or a rug there.
And as that candle burns,
You feel that glow beginning to flow through your body,
Melting staying and softening,
Loosening any tension that might be there.
And that tension flows out,
Out of your body now,
As you completely relax.
And as you rest and settle there,
On that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window a small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine.
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white,
With just the tip of its nose being a soft pink color.
And you notice the silky grass,
A beautiful mellow color of green.
And that kitten is playing with something,
A ball of string that it found in the grass.
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine.
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost,
That someone was playing with.
And the kitten is bouncing up and down,
Enjoying the sunshine and the playtime.
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down.
The ball of string becomes motionless as the little kitten lays down beside it,
Into the soft silky grass.
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest.
And without hesitation,
The little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in and breathing out,
As if its soft fur was a warm,
Cozy blanket,
And the flowing gentle grass was its pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in and out,
Ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content,
Content that it has done enough playing for now.
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass.
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur and the warmth of the sun as you gently caress the little kitten.
You can feel the breathing,
In and out,
Steady and ever so soothing.
And as you cuddle the little kitten,
And it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering its way into the top of your head,
Easing out any tension there in your scalp,
Flowing down around your eyes,
All the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth and at ease.
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
That time when nobody wants anything from you,
A time of complete and utter relaxation.
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw and your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there at the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
Unwinding in your jaw,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred tiny fingers were massaging you there.
That little kitten is safe,
Protected,
And comfortable,
As you feel its softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,
And that feeling in your hands expands and spreads,
Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment flowing down now,
Following your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten.
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation,
Flows down and down and down now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there,
And letting go of all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unwinding and releasing feeling,
Were just gently meandering its way down and down and down,
Through your ankles and into your feet,
All the way down and down and down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you,
Like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when that little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down and down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night and lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
And quietly until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons,
And being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly,
Easily,
And calmly until morning,
When you awaken relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day,
And whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,

Enjoying the sunshine and the playtime,
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down,
The ball of string becomes motionless as the little kitten lays down beside it into the soft silky grass,
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest,
And without hesitation the little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in and breathing out as if its soft fur was a warm cozy blanket and the flowing gentle grass was its pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in and out ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content,
Content that it has done enough playing for now,
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass,
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur and the warmth of the sun,
As you gently caress the little kitten,
You can feel the breathing in and out,
Steady and ever so soothing,
And as you cuddle the little kitten and it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering its way into the top of your head,
Easing out any tension there in your scalp,
Flowing down around your eyes,
All the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth and at ease,
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
That time when nobody wants anything from you,
A time of complete and utter relaxation,
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw and your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there at the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
Unwinding in your jaw,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred tiny fingers were massaging you there,
That little kitten is safe,
Protected,
And comfortable,
As you feel its softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,
And that feeling in your hands expands and spreads,
Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment flowing down now,
Following your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation flows down and down and down now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there and letting go of all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unwinding and releasing feeling were just gently meandering its way down and down,
Through your ankles and into your feet,
All the way down and down and down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when,
That little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep and sleeps pleasantly,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down and down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night and lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
And quietly until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons and being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly,
Easily,
And calmly until morning,
When you awaken relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day and whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,
And it's going to be a source of surprise and great comfort to you now that you sleep so easily at night,
To you it's going to seem so normal that you just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep when you want to,
And as you rest and settle there on that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window a small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine,
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white with just the tip of its nose being a soft pink color,
And you notice the silky grass,
A beautiful mellow color of green,
And that kitten is playing with something,
A ball of string that it found in the grass,
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine,
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost that someone was playing with,
And the kitten is bouncing up and down enjoying the sunshine and the playtime,

Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment flowing down now,
Following your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation flows down and down and down now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there and letting go of all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unwinding and releasing feeling were just gently meandering its way down and down and down.
Through your ankles and into your feet,
All the way down and down and down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when that little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly all night long,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down and down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night and lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
And quietly until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons and being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly,
Easily,
And calmly until morning,
When you awaken relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day,
And whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,
And it's going to be a source of surprise and great comfort to you now that you sleep so easily at night,
To you it's going to seem so normal that you just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep when you want to,
That in no time at all it will simply be normal for you,
It will simply be quite normal for you to sleep so easily at night,
And to sleep for as long as you need to sleep,
It will simply be quite normal for you to awaken in the mornings full of energy and looking forward to whatever opportunities that new day is going to offer,
And as you rest and settle there on that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window a small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine,
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white with just the tip of its nose being a soft pink color,
And you notice the silky grass,
A beautiful mellow color of green,
And that kitten is playing with something,
A ball of string that it found in the grass,
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine,
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost,
That someone was playing with,
And the kitten is bouncing up and down,
Enjoying the sunshine and the playtime,
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down,
The ball of string becomes motionless as the little kitten lays down beside it into the soft silky grass,
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest,
And without hesitation the little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in and breathing out,
As if its soft fur was a warm cozy blanket,
And the flowing gentle grass was its pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in and out ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content,
Content that it has done enough playing for now,
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass,
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur and the warmth of the sun,
And as you gently caress the little kitten,
You can feel the breathing in and out,
Steady and ever so soothing,
And as you cuddle the little kitten,
And it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering its way into the top of your head,
Easing out any tension there in your scalp,
Flowing down around your eyes,
All the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth and at ease,
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
That time when nobody wants anything from you,
A time of complete and utter relaxation,
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw and your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there at the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
Unwinding in your jaw,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred tiny fingers were massaging you there,
That little kitten is safe,
Protected and comfortable,
As you feel its softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,

And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
And quietly until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons,
And being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep,
Just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly,
Easily,
And calmly,
Until morning,
When you awaken,
Relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day,
And whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,
And it's going to be a source of surprise and great comfort to you,
Now that you sleep so easily at night,
To you it's going to seem so normal that you just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep when you want to,
And that tension flows out,
Out of your body now,
As you completely relax,
And as you rest and settle there,
On that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window,
A small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine,
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white,
With just the tip of its nose being a soft pink color,
And you notice the silky grass,
A beautiful,
Mellow color of green,
And that kitten is playing with something,
A ball of string that it found in the grass,
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine,
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost,
That someone was playing with,
And the kitten is bouncing up and down,
Enjoying the sunshine and the playtime,
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down,
The ball of string becomes motionless,
As the little kitten lays down beside it,
Into the soft,
Silky grass,
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest,
And without hesitation the little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in and breathing out,
As if its soft fur was a warm,
Cozy blanket,
And the flowing,
Gentle grass was its pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in and out ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content,
Content that it has done enough playing for now,
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass,
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur and the warmth of the sun,
As you gently caress the little kitten,
You can feel the breathing in and out,
Steady and ever so soothing,
And as you cuddle the little kitten,
And it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering its way into the top of your head,
Easing out any tension there in your scalp,
Flowing down around your eyes,
All the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth and at ease,
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
That time when nobody wants anything from you,
A time of complete and utter relaxation,
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw and your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there at the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
Unwinding in your jaw,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred tiny fingers were massaging you there,
That little kitten is safe,
Protected,
And comfortable,
As you feel its softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,
And that feeling in your hands expands and spreads,
Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment flowing down now,
Following your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation flows down,
And down,
And down now,
Into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there,
And letting go of all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unwinding and releasing feeling were just gently meandering its way down,
And down,
Through your ankles and into your feet,
And down,
And down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you,
Like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when that little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down and down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night and lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,

Breathing in and breathing out as if its soft fur was a warm cozy blanket and the flowing gentle grass was its pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in and out ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content,
Content that it has done enough playing for now,
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass,
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur and the warmth of the sun as you gently caress the little kitten,
You can feel the breathing in and out,
Steady and ever so soothing,
And as you cuddle the little kitten and it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering its way into the top of your head,
Easing out any tension there in your scalp,
Flowing down around your eyes,
All the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth and at ease,
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
That time when nobody wants anything from you,
A time of complete and utter relaxation,
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw and your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there at the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
Unwinding in your jaw,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred tiny fingers were massaging you there,
That little kitten is safe,
Protected,
And comfortable,
As you feel its softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,
And that feeling in your hands expands and spreads,
Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment flowing down now,
Following your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation,
Flows down and down and down now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there,
And letting go all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unwinding and releasing feeling were just gently meandering its way down and down,
Through your ankles and into your feet,
And down and down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you,
Like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when,
That little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down and down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night and lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
And quietly until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons,
And being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly and easily and calmly until morning,
When you awaken relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day and whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,
And it's going to be a source of surprise and great comfort to you now that you sleep so easily at night,
To you it's going to seem so normal that you just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep when you want to,
And as you rest and settle there on that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window a small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine,
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white with just the tip of its nose being a soft pink color,
And you notice the silky grass,
A beautiful mellow color of green,
And that kitten is playing with something,
A ball of string that it found in the grass,
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine,
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost that someone was playing with,
And the kitten is bouncing up and down enjoying the sunshine and the playtime,
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down,
The ball of string becomes motionless as the little kitten lays down beside it into the soft silky grass,
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest,
And without hesitation the little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in and breathing out as if its soft fur was a warm cozy blanket,

Feeling that contentment in your chest and your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in and breathing out,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fibre,
Every molecule of your being,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation flows down now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
That satisfying feeling,
Flowing down into your thighs,
Noticing a loosening there,
And letting go all of the large muscles there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Unreleasing feeling,
Were just gently meandering its way down into your feet,
And down to the tips of your toes,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you,
Like a beautiful soft cloud of white light,
That contains that soft breathing of the kitten,
Breathing in and out,
So peaceful,
So undisturbed,
So satisfied,
So blissful,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs without knowing where or when,
That little kitten drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly,
Going deeper into that deep and restful sleep,
Going down,
Deeper down,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm and relaxed during your waking hours,
And realizing that a dream is just a dream,
That what you remember of your dreams is nothing more than the remnant of things made sense of by your subconscious,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed at night,
And lay your head on the pillow,
When you want to go to sleep,
You will find those easy,
Comfortable,
Quiet sort of feelings just flowing into your mind and body,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep,
Sleeping soundly,
Easily,
Calmly,
Until morning,
Waking for only any essential reasons,
And being able to return to that quiet,
Peaceful,
And silent sleep,
Just as soon as those essential reasons have been attended to,
Sleeping quietly,
Easily,
And calmly,
Until morning,
When you awaken,
Relaxed,
Refreshed,
And alert,
And really looking forward to the new day,
And whatever opportunities that new day is going to bring to you,
And it's going to be a source of surprise and great comfort to you,
Now that you sleep so easily at night,
To you it's going to seem so normal that you just drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep when you want to,
That in no time at all,
It will simply be normal for you,
It will simply be quite normal for you to sleep so easily at night,
And to sleep for as long as you need to sleep,
It will simply be quite normal for you to awaken in the mornings,
Full of energy,
And looking forward to whatever opportunities that new day is going to offer,
And as you rest and settle there,
On that cloud of comfort,
You notice outside the window,
A small kitten,
A kitten that is playing in the warm sunshine,
And that kitten in your imagination might have stripes,
Or it might be completely orange,
Or it might be totally white,
With just the tip of it's nose being a soft pink color,
And you notice the silky grass,
And that kitten is playing with something that it found in the grass,
And that ball of string might be yarn,
And it might be the color of sunshine,
Or it might be a string from a toy that a child lost,
That someone was playing with,
And the kitten is bouncing up and down,
Enjoying the sunshine and the play time,
And as you watch the little kitten so playful,
You notice that the kitten begins to slow down,
The ball of string becomes motionless,
As the little kitten lays down beside it,
Into the soft silky grass,
The kitten automatically knowing that it is time for rest,
And without hesitation,
The little kitten finds itself in a comfortable position,
Breathing in,
As if it's soft fur was a warm cozy blanket,
And the flowing gentle grass was it's pillow,
And the little kitten breathes in,
Ever so gently,
Satisfied,
Peaceful,
Content that it has done enough playing for now,
And the ball of string lays loose and limp on the grass,
And as you watch that little kitten sleeping so soundly,
It's as if it were laying on your lap,
Almost as if you could feel the soft fur,
And the warmth of the sun,
And as you gently caress the little kitten,
You can feel the breathing,
In and out,
Steady and ever so soothing,
And as you cuddle the little kitten,
And it breathes in and out,
You feel that sense of peacefulness flowing into your body,
Gently easing any tension from your body,
As if that contentment,
That blissful sleep,
Was filtering it's way,
Into the top of your head,
Easing out any air in your scalp,
Flowing down all the way to the back of your eyes,
And that blissful sleepy feeling,
Gently calming your forehead,
So that your forehead is smooth,
And as that kitten contentment flows into your face,
Your face becomes expressionless,
Utter relaxation,
And that blissful feeling moves into your jaw,
And your mouth,
So that your tongue lies limply there,
At the bottom of your mouth,
As if there was a loosening,
Releasing,
And that feeling of warmth from the kitten flows into your shoulders now,
As if a box of responsibilities has been set aside,
And your shoulders feel as if a hundred times were massaging you there,
That little kitten is safe,
Protected,
And calm,
As you feel it's softness flowing into your arms now,
Gently liberating the muscles in your hands as they go limp,
Expands and spreads,
Spreads up your arms,
And as it reaches your shoulders,
It doubles that relaxation in your shoulders,
And that graceful feeling of contentment,
Relaxing every muscle in your back,
Flowing deep inside your body,
Just like the purring of that little kitten,
As if the vibration of that purring,
That feeling of breathing in,
Were flowing into every cell,
Every fiber,
And that little kitten contentment,
That purring sensation,
Flows now into your hips,
Noticing the sound of purring,
That soft vibration,
Smoothly flowing down now,
Noticing a loosening there,
And that blissful feeling expands into your knees now,
Flowing ever so gently down into your calves,
As if that letting go,
Would just gently meander and into your feet,
And that easy feeling of contentment surrounds you,
Like a beautiful soft cloud of water,
Breathing in and so undisturbed,
And as you drift off into a peaceful night's sleep,
That drifting off occurs,
Drifted off into a peaceful sleep,
And sleeps pleasantly,
And as you sleep and as you dream,
Recognizing that it's good for your subconscious to dream,
Because that dreaming helps you feel calm,
And is just a dream,
For of your dreams is nothing more,
That your conscious mind can simply forget,
So when you go to bed,
And when you want to go to sleep,
And you can just allow yourself to drift off into a deep and relaxed,
Just as soon as those essential reasons have been fulfilled,
