This is Casey.
Welcome to this EFT tapping meditation for inner peace.
If this is your first time tapping,
I have a separate track here on Insight Timer going through EFT tapping,
Introductions,
As well as its tapping points.
You're also welcome to simply google the tapping points so you have a better understanding on where to tap on through this practice.
If not,
You can also just listen to my cue,
My guidance and we'll get started right away.
Go ahead and find a comfortable seated position.
I'd recommend sitting in an upright position whether cross-legged,
On the floor,
Or the chair.
It doesn't matter but it will be really helpful if your spine is upright.
And then slowly closing down your eyes,
Taking a few breaths in and out through the nose as you quiet your thoughts and starting to deepen your awareness,
Your connection to your inner world.
As you tune into your heart,
I'd like you to measure on a scale of 1-10,
10 being the most peace you've felt,
Just genuine joy,
Peace and calmness,
And 0 being the furthest away from said peace.
Allow a number to organically naturally come up and then you can set that aside.
Go ahead and tap on the side of your hand either left or right.
Take a deep breath in and big sigh out.
Deep breath out.
Repeat after me as you continue with the tapping.
I'd really like to feel a bit more peace in my heart right now even though it seems so far away from me and a little hard to find.
I choose to deeply and completely love myself.
I choose to accept and honor myself.
Tapping on top of the head,
All these feelings that's not peace right now,
All these things that are taking me away from my peace right now.
Tapping on the eyebrow point,
I'd really like to feel some inner peace.
It'd feel really good to have some inner peace right now.
Tapping on the side of the eye,
Oh what I would do to be at peace right now.
I would do anything to just feel inner peace,
At peace with everything.
Tapping under your eye and isn't it funny that I would do anything or even give anything to be at peace while maybe the answer lies in not doing anything at all.
Or more accurately speaking,
Releasing the need for inner peace.
And maybe that's when peace will find me after all.
Tapping underneath the mouth,
Right on the chin,
It does seem a little counterintuitive,
Paradoxical even,
That somehow in my chasing of peace,
Peace gets even further away from me.
Tapping with both hands underneath the collarbones,
But in some ways it kind of makes sense.
Because energy is energy.
If I imagine myself chasing someone,
Of course instinctively,
The first thing they're going to do is run.
It doesn't matter if I'm chasing them down with money or gold,
Because they don't know that.
Tapping with both hands underneath the ribcage,
So maybe it's a similar situation with peace.
In wanting to feel peace so much that I'm not really allowing peace,
The space,
To settle in.
Tapping with one hand on either side underneath the armpit area on the side body.
Because peace is not the absence of something,
But rather the acceptance and allowing of everything to just be.
To just be as it is.
Without needing my world to change.
Without needing the people in my world to change.
Tapping on your wrist,
I'm open to the perspective that true peace lies in my ability to accept.
To not resist life.
To not need the world to change for me.
Tapping on top of your wrist,
I'm open to the perspective that peace can lie in the here and now.
As long as I accept and see it with love.
So I choose to allow this moment.
Tapping on top of your head once again,
Repeat after me.
I choose to allow this moment exactly as it is.
I choose to accept this moment exactly as it is.
Once again,
Tapping with both hands underneath the ribcage,
Both hands underneath your collarbones,
Take a deep breath in,
Big sigh out.
No need to repeat after me,
But keep your eyes closed and I would like for you to just co-exist with your reality for a moment.
Whatever that means for you.
For some,
It could mean physically just enjoying the stillness around you.
Maybe it's silence that's surrounding you.
Maybe you live with a lot of people and it's kind of chaotic,
But can you allow your reality around you to just be as it is?
And as you're still continuing to tap with both hands underneath the collarbones,
I want you to take a few deep breaths in and breathing into the sense of acceptance,
Of allowing this moment to simply be.
And without needing anything else in your external circumstances,
Your world,
Your situations to change,
Can you find peace in the here and the now,
Exactly as everything is.
Knowing that this moment is perfect as it is and it's unique.
And this exact moment is not going to come back ever again.
So enjoy this very human experience.
Keeping your eyes closed,
You can pause with the tapping,
Returning your hand maybe on your lap or if you like,
You can also hold your hands together or any mudra that you like.
Once again,
Just taking a few slow deep breaths in and out.
Maybe even bringing a light smile to your face.
Enjoy your moment.
Enjoy your beautiful life.
Whenever you're ready,
Slowly blink your eyes open.
Welcome back.
