Welcome to this guided meditation practice for balancing,
Energizing,
And healing the sacred chakra.
This meditation will help you feel more energized,
Balanced,
Emotionally grounded,
Creative,
Sensual,
Energetic,
And bursting with passion for life.
First let's talk a little more about the sacred chakra.
As you know,
We have a physical body and a subtle energetic body.
Within these bodies are pathways and meridians that flow with prana,
Or life force,
Which unites at powerful energy centers known as chakras.
The seven primary chakras flow from the root,
Located at the base of the spine,
All the way up to the crown chakra at the top of the head.
The sacral chakra is the second chakra from the bottom.
It's situated about two inches below the navel in the region of the lower abdomen.
The sacral chakra is the center of our emotional,
Creative,
And sexual energy.
It's associated with the color orange.
The symbol of the sacral chakra resembles an orange lotus flower with six light orange colored petals and contains a circle and a crescent moon inside of it.
It regulates the energy associated with passion,
Pleasure,
And sensuality.
The sacral chakra is governed by the element of water.
Unfortunately many experiences in life can contribute to a blocked or unbalanced sacral chakra.
If you've ever experienced body shame,
A strict upbringing,
Toxic relationships,
Religious indoctrination,
Or critical forms of social conditioning that may have limited the flow of your life force energy,
You may have an unbalanced sacral chakra.
When the sacral chakra flows downward and becomes unbalanced due to traumatic early and adult life experiences,
We may experience a multitude of physical,
Emotional,
Psychological,
And interpersonal issues.
However,
When the chakra is aligned with the upward flow of energy and feeling good,
It is balanced and you will notice that creativity flows,
Ideas come up,
And you feel alive and bright.
You are filled with creativity,
Vibrancy,
Innovation,
And inspiration.
Now let's begin our practice.
Let's begin to experience flowing and vibrant sacral chakra energy so that we can live a life of flow,
Joy,
And vibrancy.
When the energy flows,
We flow and life flows.
Let's get ready to practice.
Close your eyes.
This is your time for self-care now,
So release all your worries.
Allow yourself to relax,
Relaxing into the flow of the moment.
Whatever comes easily for you is just right.
There is no right or wrong here right now.
The future and the past do not exist right now.
Only this present moment matters.
Notice any sounds around you.
Acknowledge them and let them go.
Notice any bodily sensations.
Acknowledge them and allow them to just be.
Allow your body to relax.
Let your feet,
Ankles,
And legs soften.
Tap your shoulders.
Relax your hands.
Now allow your full body to soften.
Expand and relax into a natural position.
Tell your head and face to relax.
Your scalp and hair.
Relax your ears,
Your jaw,
And chin.
Expand and relax.
Relax your cheeks,
Your nose,
Your eyes,
And your eyebrows.
Your forehead feels soft and relaxed.
Now take a cleansing breath in,
Inhaling serenity and joy.
And breathe out the tension in your body.
Allowing your breathing to fall into its own natural rhythm.
Not trying to control it in any way.
Just observing.
Breathe in relaxation.
And breathe out tension.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Just watch the natural rhythm of your breathing.
If thoughts intrude into your mind,
Allow them to flow and pass by.
Return your attention to your breathing.
Let your breath be the anchor that brings you back into relaxation.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathe in.
And breathe in out.
Now bring your awareness to your abdomen.
Right below your belly button.
Imagine a bright,
Beautiful orange light there.
Swirling around like a little whirlpool.
Try to notice how it feels and how it looks.
Try to get a sense of how it is functioning.
Can you feel any tingling sensations?
Is it swirling and moving?
What speed is it?
Does it feel fast or slow?
Do you sense it to be a small light or a big and large light?
Can you see any color in your mind's eye?
Continue to relax and bring your attention back to your breathing.
Breathing in relaxation and breathing out tension.
With every breath you relax even further,
Feeling completely peaceful and safe.
Now begin to breathe in some orange light into your belly area,
Into your sacral chakra.
Breathing in beautiful orange light.
Feel and sense as the orange glow starts to gently spread out.
With every breath you pull in more fresh orange light,
Allowing it to fill your sacral chakra and your belly.
Wanting to spread further outwards.
Relaxing and breathing in orange light energy.
Exhaling tension.
As you breathe in this orange light it brings you happiness,
Fulfillment and creativity.
As you breathe out you allow this orange light to remove all blocks and toxins.
Let the orange light fill you as it spreads down to your toes.
And all the way up to your chest.
This orange light spreads into your full body and into all other chakras.
Feel the lovely orange glow as it gently spins and envelops you.
Tell yourself you are emotionally fulfilled.
You welcome in all healing pleasures that life has to offer.
You are creative.
Breathing in joy.
And breathing out tension.
One more time.
Breathing in joy.
And breathing out tension.
Continue to relax and repeat the following affirmations silently in your mind.
Allow the energy of the words I speak to you wash over you.
Making you feel radiant,
Vibrant,
Magnetic and creative.
Affirm.
I am creative.
It is safe to express my sexuality.
I am comfortable in my body.
I am in touch with my feelings.
It is my right to be joyful and find pleasure.
I respect and accept myself and others exactly as they are.
My body responds to thoughts of pure love and goodness.
I am saturated with powerful golden orange at light energy,
Healing my sacral chakra.
Goodness,
Beauty and joy resonate with my soul.
I am one with them.
I am radiant,
Beautiful and strong.
Healing happens each time I rest,
Relax and enjoy myself.
Let those affirmations soak into your subconscious mind.
Embody them.
Now it is time to bring this meditation practice to a close.
Slowly and gently bring your attention back to your lower abdomen.
Sense and feel the orange light bathing the sacral chakra.
Visualize it getting smaller,
Bringing it down to around the size of a tiny fairy light.
Bringing it to normal function.
Repeat to yourself,
My sacral chakra is healthy and balanced.
My sacral chakra is healthy and balanced.
My sacral chakra is healthy and balanced.
Now bring your awareness back to the gentle flowing of your breathing.
In and out.
In and out.
Notice the cool breath as it comes in through your nose and down the back of your throat and into your lungs.
Notice the natural movement of your tummy as you breathe in and out.
Become aware of your entire body again as it rests against the surface supporting you.
Bring your attention to your feet and to your toes.
Give them a little wiggle.
Notice your fingers and give them a little wiggle as well.
Give your shoulders a little shrug.
Let yourself be aware of the room or space you're in,
Noticing all the sounds close by.
And when you feel ready to,
You can open your eyes.
