Welcome to day 8.
Today's guided meditation will use imagery that can help you to respond and feel connection with your body.
We'll be imagining our body as a healing garden.
When you are ready,
Please find a comfortable position.
Allow your eyes to gently close and begin to draw your awareness inside.
Take a few deep breaths to allow your body to begin to relax.
Scan your body from head to toe and notice the place right now that is holding the most tension.
Visualize this tension as a seed within your body.
Notice the hard exterior of the seed.
The gripping or tightening.
Now begin to water the seed of tension with the relaxing flow of your breath.
Take several long,
Deep breaths.
Breathe in peace and tranquility and direct the breath into this tension.
As you continue to breathe,
Notice the seed softening.
With each breath,
Feel the hard exterior of the seed dissolve and melt away.
Transforming the tension into new life.
From seed to sprout to bud to radiant blossom.
Enjoy this feeling of transformation as your tension releases and becomes a beautiful flower.
Look for any other seeds of tension.
Take time to find these places.
To breathe into the tension.
Each breath,
A wave of relaxation flowing through you.
Each seed transforming into soft flowers.
Allow your awareness to move throughout your body garden.
And notice if there is any clearing to be done.
Pulling out any weeds or unwanted growth.
Allow your breath to become powerful like a strong breeze.
With each deep breath,
See the debris,
The old dead leaves,
And anything ready to be cleared.
Blowing away until your body feels free of anything you are ready to release.
When the clearing feels complete,
Allow your breath to return to a gentle breeze.
Imagine now only the most healing rays of the sun shining down into your body garden.
Feel the warm golden energy of the sun flowing deeply into your body.
And encouraging the blossoming of vital health and wellness.
Visualize this as a soft,
Beautiful flower petal blossoming open.
Even more with the water of your breath and the warmth of the sun.
Feel the freedom that flows,
Release.
The deep opening of your body.
Feel this golden light radiating deep into the very cells within you.
Healing and nourishing all that it touches.
Experience the power of pure energy,
Encouraging your body to blossom to new levels of health and well-being.
See your body as a beautiful garden filled with brightly colored flowers,
Warm sunshine,
And fresh breezes.
Enjoy resting here in the light and relaxation of your body garden for as long as you'd like before coming back.
If and when you are ready to return from your meditation,
Take a few deep breaths.
Bring your awareness back into the room.
And slowly start to transition your body out of the pose or position in which you have been resting.
Make sure that you take some time here,
Allowing yourself to reawaken.
You can wiggle the fingers,
The toes,
Rock the head gently from side to side.
