Welcome,
I'm Candy Foster,
I'm an intuitive,
And I pull a card for the collective each day.
Each month we'll work with a new deck,
And this month I've chosen the Green Witches Oracle deck by Erin Murphy Hiscock.
This is a new deck for me,
And they are adorable.
They're all about natural magic,
And the images are just whimsical sketches,
And I love them.
I'm a total nature lover,
So that is what drew me to them.
And this month I'm called to leave a little space for integration.
So at the end of each reading,
We will take a few moments to just integrate the message and the energy of the message coming forth for us all.
I hope you enjoy.
Okay,
So today we have a jumper card once again.
So the card for our answer is Moth,
And our jumper card is Mortar and Pestle.
So that is the same one as yesterday,
So obviously that energy is carrying forward.
So Moth is Mystery,
Concealment,
Illusion.
While some species of moths are diurnal,
We tend to associate moths with the night.
Moths are beautiful night pollinators,
Doing important work under the cover of darkness.
Moths are often compelled to seek out the light,
Even though it may endanger them.
Moths,
Like butterflies,
Often have markings that distinguish them,
Tricking predators into assuming they are something other than what they truly are.
This illusion serves as protection.
The Moth card tells you that perhaps something around you isn't what it seems.
Look for the truth and follow the light,
But don't let yourself be blinded.
There may be something in your life that needs illumination in order for you to take control.
Mortar and Pestle,
Integration,
Subtlety,
Thoroughness.
The goals of the Mortar and Pestle are twofold.
First to reduce the size of something,
And then to combine ingredients.
In a spell,
In order to evenly combine your components,
You need to break them down into smaller pieces.
The grinding motion used with the Mortar and Pestle can appear aggressive,
And applying too much force can make your ingredients fly everywhere.
Use finesse.
Be gentle,
But thorough.
Take the time to blend things evenly.
This card tells you that something in your life needs to be better incorporated.
It could be as simple as integrating your practice into daily life,
Or something more complex like finding balance between two relationships.
Whatever it is,
Take it slow,
Or you'll scatter what you're trying to integrate.
So that's big messages today.
So as we take a moment to reflect,
We have two questions today.
What in your life needs illumination to enable you to see past a surface-level illusion?
And what part of your life do you need to blend more seamlessly?
So those are big energies.
I think we need a little more time today to incorporate.
I hope this message is helpful,
And I hope you have a great day.
Namaste.
