Today the sun is in Virgo.
The moon is in Gemini.
At the last quarter moon.
Energy today is all about release,
Reassessment,
And mental clearing.
The last quarter moon brings us into a final release portion of this lunar cycle.
Our card today is card number 22.
The Ghost Dance.
The essence.
The ghost stand of the American Plains Indians united the spirit of the living with those of the ancestors.
To bring peace to the world.
When the ancestors are honored,
They bring harmony to us.
When we hold them responsible for all that is wrong with us today,
They haunt us.
Honor the spirit of ancestors and receive their lessons and gifts.
This includes honoring your own past lives.
The invitation.
The ancestors have a message of healing and powerful medicine to offer you.
Create a sacred moment at your altar.
Light a candle to them.
And let their wisdom infuse you.
At this stage of your life,
You are done repeating their tragic stories.
Step into the abundance that is offered to you.
Receive the gifts of those that have come before you,
And write a new story for your life.
The medicine.
If you are trapped in a vicious cycle of nostalgia,
Mourning a lost youth or opportunity missed,
It is time to make an altar for the ancestors.
Collect a few photos,
Light some incense,
Offer sage,
And open the windows of your house to release them to their destiny and to the wind.
Be wary of being snared in a relationship with someone from a past lifetime.
As people we loved or hurt have a way of reappearing in our lives.
There is no learning for you there anymore.
All right,
Take a moment to settle in,
Be present.
And just receive.
The energy in the message today.
I know we all have some kind of patterns.
That we find ourselves repeating over and over and over.
The ones we noticed are the ones that are not necessarily desirable,
Right?
Our money patterns,
Our addictive patterns,
Our self-soothing patterns,
Whatever they are.
Oftentimes those things that we just keep repeating are handed down from our ancestral line.
Today we're being called to let that go.
But at the same time take in the wisdom.
That they've shared with us,
The wisdom that they had learned and are trying to hand down.
Maybe that's the whole reason we're repeating it over and over again.
So today,
Let's take that wisdom.
Release the pattern.
Let it go.
Forgive ourselves and our ancestors.
For the hurt that we've put ourselves through over and over again.
And really trust that we can move on.
Learning from the past.
This life and prior.
And honoring that whole line.
