For this practice, snuggle your baby close and feel their breath as you tune into your own. Let go of the outside world and immerse yourself in the moment with your little one, repeat a loving affirmation to yourself as you remind yourself that you are exactly where you need to be, doing exactly what you need to be doing.

Hey mama,

Wherever you are in your journey of motherhood,

My intention for this meditation is to help ease some of the worries or anxieties you may feel and connect you to yourself and your baby.

This short guided practice can be done while you're feeding your baby or simply holding them while they're asleep,

Making sure that you are comfortable yet still alert enough to stay awake.

So getting cozy and comfortable,

Snuggling your baby close and softly gazing down at them,

Keeping your eyes open but softening your gaze so that you let the world around you fade away and you can immerse yourself in this beautiful moment that you have right here,

Just you and your baby.

Can you feel the softness of their breath as you drop into your own,

Effortlessly allowing the air to fill your lungs like a gentle breeze on a warm spring day?

And as you exhale,

Releasing any lingering tension in the body,

Feeling the warmth and the comfort of your baby up against you,

A precious reminder of this life and the infinite unconditional love that flows between you and surrounds you,

Protecting you,

With each breath feeling yourself becoming more grounded and more connected,

With each breath letting go of the outside world,

Knowing that for this moment you are exactly where you need to be,

Doing exactly what you need to be doing.

This is the most productive and meaningful work you will ever do.

This tiny being created and grown from your own body,

You are infinitely connected to them.

Trust that you and only you know what's best for your baby.

Trust that you carry the wisdom of all mothers that have come before you,

That have walked their own path,

Each finding their own way with grace and resilience,

And you will too.

Although moments of fear and doubt may try to convince you otherwise,

Know that you carry your own unique wisdom within you.

Repeating this affirmation softly in your mind or loud if you wish.

I trust in my own wisdom,

Guiding me with gentle assurance.

I am capable,

Intuitive,

And strong,

Nurturing this precious life with love.

Feeling the weight of any worries gently lifting from your shoulders,

Replaced by a sense of calm and tender assurance that washes over you like a gentle stream.

Allow yourself to be here for a moment,

With your breath,

With your baby's breath,

Boundless love,

Infinitely connected.

Staying here for as long as you have time for,

Provided that you are able to stay awake,

You can stay immersed in this moment for as long as you wish.

As you are ready to return back to your day or your evening,

You can carry this sense of inner trust and ease with you,

Knowing that you are more than enough,

Just as you are,

That you are infinitely loved,

Infinitely in tune with your baby's needs.

And thank you so much for practicing with me.

Take care.
