Trust In The Lord - Prayer

In this contemplative prayer, I remind you that your faith is bigger than your fear. That God is faithful, and unlike people who may fail us, He never will. Join me in this prayer to strengthen your faith in Him.

With a deep breath in, Allow it to leave your body gently as you find ease and comfort in your seat. People will let us down. They will not meet our expectations and often times will slow down. Sometimes our trust is shaken, Not only in those around us, But in God. We examine God with a human lens, Finding it hard to believe that He is able and willing to do what we ask of Him. Instead of looking around at all the ways we've been let down, Look up and remember the ways that God has provided for you. Build your faith and trust in the One who has remained consistent throughout your life time and time again. Join me in this prayer. Dear God, I am coming to You with a humble heart. I admit I may not have always trusted You. I have held You to human standards when You are anything but. Today in this moment, I am ready to trust in You. I am letting go and letting You align my life to Your will and Your plans. I am trusting that You know what is best for me and You will not fail me. I trust in You, Lord. Continue to build that trust and with it allow my faith to grow immeasurably. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
