At the end of a long,

Hard day,

Whatever challenged us lingers.

On into the evening,

When our time is precious.

When our time is ours.

When our time shouldn't be split with the day's problems.

Instead of letting it linger,

Take a breath.

Deeply.

Continue with your breathing.

In.

As you breathe,

Imagine those thoughts,

Those challenges,

Those infuriating moments.

They are lost in the wind,

For now.

They have no place in your evening.

They have no home in your mind.

They cannot disrupt the peace waiting on you as you sit for the evening.

So breathe.

And say,

Today was,

But this evening is not.

One more time,

Say,

Today was,

But this evening is not.

Go into your evening with peace.
