This Is The Day

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” It's easy to start the day without joy. To roll out of bed complaining about what has to be done. Instead of letting your day get away from you, start it with this meditation, and joy in your heart.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118. 24 says it so clearly. Wake up with a joyful heart, With expectancy, Knowing God crafted this day and even if it doesn't go the way we planned, It's still good. Waking in the morning with a joyful noise starts your day in a positive attitude. Instead of rolling over and grumbling about another day, Ease out of bed with joy in your heart, Grateful for another day. Another opportunity for God to do something beyond anything you can think or imagine. Put it in your mind today will be a good day and allow it to be. Don't stand in the way of what God intends for you today. Don't block the light he's shining upon you, The grace he willingly gives you, The mercy he grants you. Open up and accept today is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it. Now with a joyful mind, An open heart, And expectancy, Take a deep breath. Let it ease from your lungs and through your nose. Again, In through your nose and let it ease on out of your mouth. Continue with easy breaths, Reminding your body that all is well. With a joyful mind, An open heart, And expectancy, Begin your day.
