Rest In Him

In the Bible, we find Jesus resting in the middle of a storm. Mark 4:38-40. How could Jesus rest when the waves are about to overcome the boat? Jesus reminds us that we are to have faith in Him. With that faith comes a peace that allows peace, and rest.

The Bible has a reference of Jesus. Resting when it seems rest would be impossible. We can use the reference as a reminder to rest in God. To be calm when all else seems chaotic. When the storms of your life seem unbearable or the waves feel like they'll overturn your boat. Rest. Breathe. Let your body relax and your thoughts to still. Because God is with you. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. Listen to these Bible Scriptures and with each word, Breathe. Mark chapter 4 verse 38 through 40. Jesus was inside the boat, Sleeping with his head on the pillow. The followers went in and woke him. They said, Teacher, Don't you care about us? We are going to drown. Jesus stood up and gave a command to the wind and the water. He said, Quiet. Be still. Then the wind stopped and the lake became calm. He said to his followers, Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith? Take a moment to reflect on his words. I hope you find rest.
