What if,
For just this morning,
You decide to choose ease?
That no matter the time on the clock and where you have to be or what you have to do,
You choose ease.
You don't consider the consequences,
The challenges,
The later inconvenience.
For now,
You allow ease to be your guide,
Not the clock,
Not the task,
Not the people who need you,
But ease.
Take a breath,
Feel your lungs,
And pause.
Hold it for as long as it feels right,
Then release.
And as you do,
Decide,
Ease is what it is today.
For now,
The day will begin as calm as the ocean with no breeze,
As a baby just put to sleep,
As a grandmother in her cup of coffee.
This morning will be that for you.
So decide,
Ease is what it will be,
And for now,
Breathe.
In and out.
And after this meditation ends,
Continue for as long as you feel necessary.
Don't rush.
The day will be waiting on you,
No matter what,
So trust.
If you decide on ease,
Ease it'll be.
For now,
Breathe.
