In this meditation, be reminded that you are here. Where everything is known. It's the unknown of the there that causes anxious thoughts. But be here in the moment, breathing, and focusing on your breath to still your thoughts. Prevent them from venturing there.

Settle in for a moment.

Take up space where you are.

Fill the room around you.

The air on your skin.

The light on your face.

Close your eyes and go within.

Feel your heart as it beats.

And your breath while your chest rises.

And falls.

Feel your muscles relaxing.

Your bones settling.

Somewhere between here and there is where you sit.

In a moment when everything is sure.

Everything is known.

Nothing is in question.

Nothing is in doubt.

There is no anxiety about the unknown.

The unanswered questions.

There is no doubt.

Be somewhere between here and there.

Rest.

Relax.

Breathe.

Make this next breath deeper than the last.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Again.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Let motion return to your body and thought into your mind.

Your breath to return to normal.

And your muscles to stretch.

Your bones to extend.

And if you are able,

Stretch.

In all directions.

Next time you find yourself entering too far into the there,

Come back here.
