Taking these next few moments to find yourself in a comfortable seated upright position where your chest is held high,
Your chin is slightly tucked in,
Opening up some space in the back of the neck,
Your spine is erect,
And you are in a posture that is fully aligned.

Breathing in deep,
Exhaling nice and slow.
In this practice,
We will allow ourselves to feel grounded and held and supported in knowing the truth of our soul,
And that is we have everything we need when we need it most.
I invite you to push all of the air out of your lungs.

You will breathe.
Inhale.
And release.

Continue to follow the rhythm of your breath as it comes in and as it moves out.

Using the breath to release any tension that you may be holding in the body.
Scanning from the top of your head down to your eyes,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
Unclenching the jaw,
Bringing your awareness down to your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your back.
Also coming down your arms and using the breath to help you surrender.
Continuing to scan the body down to your hips,
Your thighs,
Your forearms,
Your hands,
Your knees.
Moving down to your calves and your feet.
Taking a deep breath in and exhaling very slowly and noticing the body.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Observing how the body softens.
Breathing in,

Continue to observe this motion.

Understanding where your thoughts are leading you to.
As you may have wandered off,
Kindly come back to the breath and notice the inhale and the exhale.
Understanding any thoughts of the past,
Any worries from the future do not exist here.
Only this breath.
Continue this moment.
Notice the solid foundation that is holding you up right now.
Notice the ground,
How stable and firm it is.
I invite you to express your gratitude towards this ground.
How thankful are you right now knowing that the ground is currently holding you down.
If you are holding on to any sadness,
Any fear,
Any doubts,
Or any other low vibrational thoughts.
How grateful can you be knowing that the ground is holding you with all this weight.
Giving thanks for the way the soil and the earth continues to provide the nourishment we need to grow and thrive.
In your mind's eye for a moment,
Imagine yourself walking through the forest without any shoes.
Feel your toes connecting with the dirt.
Feel how soft it is.
Remember to breathe in and as you breathe out,
You let go of this weight that you've been holding on to.
Continue to walk through this forest with your bare feet.
Moving very slowly as you take each step,
You feel every sensation.

Ground yourself into this experience.
Feel the fresh pines around you,
The crisp air,
The sun's flare as it kisses your skin.
Notice what it feels like to be nourished in this way.
In this forest,
Find yourself a tree.
Allow your back to lean on this tree.
As you breathe in,
Taking in the sacredness of life,
You breathe out slowly and feel the base of your spine connecting with the roots of the tree.
Notice the base of your spine expanding into the earth,
Feeling so connected,
Feeling so protected.
As you breathe in,
Taking in the sacredness of life,
You breathe out slowly and feel the While sitting next to this tree,
Bring into your awareness a thought that you've been holding onto that has not been serving you.
What fears or worries have you been holding onto in the last few days,
Weeks,
Months?
Have you been telling yourself that you are confused?
Have you been telling yourself that you are not ready?
Have you been telling yourself that you have to do this alone?
What is that thought?
What is that story?
Hold it in your mind.
As you breathe in,
You hold it.
As you breathe out,
Notice how it moves down into the earth.
Continue moving with this rhythm,
Breathing in that thought,
And letting it go.
It is done.
You are free.
Your only responsibility is to breathe.
Allow yourself to be guided by the trees.
