Welcome back,
Family.
Welcome home.
Thank you for taking this time to sit still,
Observe,
And feel all you are meant to feel.
Sometimes it's very hard to see the big picture when we get so caught up in the frame.
So today,
We are going to pull back from the details of our lives so we can remember who we are,
What we are,
And why we are the way we are.
Adjusting yourself in your seat,
Or if you choose to lay down,
That's totally okay.
Drop your shoulders down and back.
Open up the heart space.
Resting the hands,
Redirecting your attention towards your breath,
Noticing the inhale,
Noticing the exhale.
Let us breathe a little deeper into the belly after we release all of the air out of our lungs until we are empty,
Empty,
Empty.
Let us take a deep breath in together.
And slowly exhale through the mouth.
Let us do two more like that together.
Breathing in deep through the nose into the belly,
And release through the mouth.
One more together.
Deep inhale,
Take it a little more,
Hold it,
Savour it,
And release.
Beautiful.
Now simply allow the breath to move however it wants to move.
Continue to observe as the sacred breath of the life moves in and through the body.
We are not here to create from a place of force,
Rather let us create from a place of power.
In order to create from a place of power,
One must be willing to surrender.
Surrender control over what's outside of your control.
Surrender any tension that the body may be holding onto.
Releasing any expectations and replacing these expectations with appreciation.
Notice your breathing in this moment,
And with every exhale I invite you to surrender even more.
Continue to relax.
The top of the head,
The eyebrows,
The jaw,
The tongue.
Relaxing the shoulders,
The arms,
The hands,
And allowing your hips,
Your thighs,
Down to your legs and feet to release any and all tension.
Relaxing the shoulders,
The arms,
The hands,
And the hands.
Most humans have a tendency to sometimes believe that we are victims of circumstance,
Though this is not the case.
While we do live within circumstances,
As we sit here and practice,
We remember that we have the ability to respond to any given circumstance.
Remember,
We are here to create from a place of power,
Not force.
I invite you now to redirect your attention towards the space that you are in.
Whether you're in a room or outside,
With your mind's eye,
Simply observe your surroundings.
Notice your posture,
Noticing your place within the space around you.
I challenge you to look at your life and to change it.
I challenge you to continue on ahead on your path in spite of opposition.
I challenge you to look again at the tasks that seem insurmountable and to accept the risks you face in trying to accomplish them.
As you observe your surroundings,
As you observe your place within the space,
Let us reflect.
What challenges have been presenting themselves to you?
What issues has your mind constantly been wrapping itself around?
What obstacles have been standing in your way?
Have you been striving to improve your relationships but been facing resistance towards tough conversations?
Have you been wanting to improve your health but continue to fall into unhealthy eating habits?
Have you been desiring to be more expressive in your creativity but find yourself consuming a little too much media and information?
Whatever challenges have been presenting themselves to you,
Simply observe.
What are the stories that you've been telling yourself about these challenges?
What are the stories that you've been telling yourself about these challenges?
Bringing the attention back to the body,
Back to the breath,
Back to the present moment,
And observe yourself being the observer of your life in this moment.
You have a bird's eye view.
Now,
Look around.
What is available to you in this moment?
What relationships,
What resources are made available to you?
Life is always,
In all ways,
Contributing towards our greatest good.
As we sit here and breathe with ease,
We can receive all that life has to offer.
This includes insight.
You are stronger than your challenges.
You are beyond intelligent.
You are creative.
As you breathe in through this practice,
Embrace these qualities that you know to be true about yourself.
Whenever we are faced with a challenge or an obstacle,
It is important for us to calm our nervous system,
Calm the mind before we begin to strategize or plan our next move.
So I thank you for taking this time to be present,
To be grounded in the moment,
To be available to receiving guidance on your journey.
Pay attention to the synchronicities that present themselves to you in the moments to come.
The time has come for you to overcome any and all challenges.
