Thank you for taking the time to sit with me in this grounding meditation practice.
I give thanks for the time and the space that is being provided to each one of us so that we may ground ourselves in the presence of the Spirit,
Ground ourselves in the presence of our authenticity.
It's very easy to get caught up in the monkey mind,
All the things that we gotta do,
All the things that we feel like we need to show up for.
Yet,
Right here,
Right now,
We give thanks for this opportunity to sit,
To breathe,
And to just be.
Taking a moment to get yourself into a nice,
Comfortable,
Seated,
Upright position as you begin to direct your attention towards your breath.
Beginning to breathe in deep through the nose,
And breathing out through the mouth.
Breathing in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Breathing in deep,
Continue to breathe in deep through the nose,
And release through the mouth,
Just for a few more moments on your own.
Notice wherever it is your mind is wandering to,
And with kindness and compassion,
Just coming right back to the inhale,
And the exhale.
Noticing yourself planted on the ground,
Recognizing the intelligent root system that is beneath the ground,
Active,
And alive,
And intelligent.
We are no separate from this Earth,
We are not separate from one another,
Just as we are not separate from the Great Spirit,
The Great Creator.
And so as we sit here and breathe,
We honor this process of harmonizing ourselves with the oneness of it all.
The fears that you carry,
Remember you aren't the only one that carries those fears.
The desires you walk with,
You are not the only one walking with similar desires.
So in this moment,
We open our hearts and give thanks to the people that we have within our inner circle,
Taking a moment to acknowledge all the relationships that we are blessed to have around us.
Imagining your best friend,
Maybe your brother,
Your mother,
The people that care about you,
The people that you care about,
Just imagining in this moment that each one of these individuals are surrounding you with a smile,
With acceptance,
With love,
And just breathe into the presence of these beautiful relationships that you have in your life.
Noticing all the people that God has placed on your path.
Noticing the people that extend their hearts,
Their hugs,
Their positive reinforcement.
We give thanks for this beautiful family that we have.
And we give thanks to all of those who have held space for us,
Who have guided us and provided us with what we needed in a given moment.
And we give thanks for those that have held us in all that we are,
Just as we are.
The people that we don't have to pretend to be someone else around.
Take this moment to recognize that there's something unique about our authentic expression.
Let's take this moment to sit with and feel into our uniqueness,
What makes us who we are.
You may begin to notice some of the reflections that others have shared with you.
Notice how it makes you feel.
Even in moments when we forget,
We know that there's something very beautiful and unique about our presence alone.
We cannot be replicated.
There's no one else like us on this planet.
So we embrace the good and the ugly.
And we say yes to learning and to transforming into the next level of who we're here to be.
It all starts with this practice of being.
And so Spirit,
We thank you.
We thank you for this moment to be still.
We thank you for this moment to be silent.
We thank you for the miraculous ways that you move through our lives.
Praying that we move forward,
Grounded in what we're capable of.
Thank you for this and so much more,
Spirit.
Taking a deep breath in.
And if you feel called to sit in this practice a little longer,
You are welcome to.
Keep the eyes closed.
Stay in your seat and only move when you feel moved to.
Many blessings.
