Now gathering your attention around the breath Perhaps feeling the breath in the belly As the belly rises and falls with the in-breath and the out-breath Or feeling the breath in the chest As the chest expands and contracts with the in-breath and the out-breath And staying with those sensations as best you can Allowing your attention to gather around the sensation of breathing Now expanding your awareness in the 3rd stage That sense of the breath in the body The whole body responding to the breath And expanding your awareness back into the room Back to that sense of your weight supported by the chair,

The seat Awareness of the people around you The temperature,
Touch of cloth and fabric of your clothes against the body In your own time,
