Hello and welcome.
This is a guided meditation on acceptance and allowing.
I invite you to find a comfortable position either seated or lying down and close down your eyes.
I invite you to begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose and open the mouth to release.
Let's do that again.
Inhaling from the nose,
Fill up completely and let go.
One more time.
Inhaling,
Filling up completely,
Holding it for a moment and then really,
Really sigh it out.
Let it go.
To begin this meditation,
I invite you to first say inside your mind the word yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Notice how you feel inside when you think and feel yes.
Now I invite you to say the word no inside your mind.
No.
No.
No.
Notice how you feel when you say no.
Perhaps there's a tightness,
A clenching.
As we move through our day,
Everything that comes across our path creates an energy of either yes or no inside the body,
Inside the mind.
When we come across something that makes us yes,
We typically feel open,
More joyful,
More at ease.
But when something comes along and we feel a no,
That often results in feelings of tightness,
Tension,
Dissatisfaction,
Resistance,
Fear or anger.
So throughout this meditation,
We're going to see if we can say yes to our lives,
Say yes to all that we are.
To begin,
I invite you to become aware of your feet.
Notice your feet,
Your toes.
Notice how they're feeling.
Now no matter how you are feeling,
Can you say yes to your feet?
Can you create an energy of yes towards your feet?
Good.
Moving up,
Can you become aware of your legs?
Notice your legs.
Can you say yes to your legs?
Simply take a breath and say yes to your legs.
Notice your hips.
Notice your pelvis.
Can you say yes to your hips?
Can you say yes to your pelvis?
Notice your lower back.
Regardless of how your lower back is feeling,
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to your lower back exactly as it is?
Say yes to your lower back.
Become aware of your belly.
Become aware of your womb space.
Can you say yes to your womb?
Can you say yes to your belly?
Become aware of your chest,
Your heart,
Your lungs.
Can you say yes to your chest?
Can you feel a yes towards your heart,
Towards your lungs?
Notice your upper back.
Can you say yes to your back?
Say yes to your back.
Notice your shoulders.
Can you say yes to your shoulders?
Say yes to your shoulders.
Notice your posture.
Can you sit a little taller?
Can you let your shoulders move towards the earth?
Can you straighten your spine?
And however your posture is,
Can you say yes?
Notice your right arm.
Become aware of your right arm.
Can you say yes to your right arm?
Can you say yes to your right hand?
Can you say yes to all of your fingers?
Say yes to your entire right arm,
Hand,
And fingers.
Notice your left arm.
Can you say yes to your left arm?
Can you say yes to your left hand?
Can you say yes to your left fingers?
Can you say yes to your entire left hand,
Arms,
And fingers?
Notice your neck.
Can you say yes to your neck?
Say yes to your neck.
Notice your jaw.
Are you clenching?
Are you relaxed?
Can you relax and say yes to your jaw?
Say yes to your jaw.
Can you say yes to your lips?
Can you say yes to your teeth?
Can you say yes to your tongue?
Notice your cheeks.
Can you say yes to your cheeks?
Notice your nose.
Can you say yes to your nose?
Say yes to your nose.
Notice your eyes.
Feel your eyes inside your head.
Notice the space they take up.
Notice how they're feeling.
Regardless of how they're feeling,
Can you say yes to your eyes?
Can you say yes to your right eye?
Can you say yes to your left eye?
Can you say yes to your eyebrows?
Can you say yes to your forehead?
Can you say yes to your entire face?
Notice your right ear.
Can you say yes to your right ear?
Notice your left ear.
Can you say yes to your left ear?
Can you say yes to your whole head?
The top of your head?
The back of your head?
The sides?
Say yes to your entire head.
Notice your brain inside of your head.
Can you say yes to your brain?
Can you say yes to your thoughts?
Can you say yes to your organs?
Saying yes to the heart?
Saying yes to the liver?
Saying yes to the stomach?
Saying yes to the spleen?
Saying yes to the kidneys?
Saying yes to your digestive organs?
Saying yes to your bladder?
And now,
Can you notice your entire body?
Can you feel your whole body?
Can you say yes to your whole body?
Say yes to your whole body.
Notice how that feels inside.
To say yes.
To feel yes towards yourself.
I invite you to notice a place on your body that maybe feels a little uneasy.
Maybe there's some tension.
Maybe there's some tightness.
Can you notice that spot of you?
Don't try to change how you're feeling.
Don't try to push it away.
Just notice what's there.
Notice what you're feeling.
And now,
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to however you're feeling?
Can you say yes to that part of your body?
Simply relax.
Take a breath.
See if you can say yes.
Is there a part of your body that you don't like?
Part of your body that you feel dissatisfied with?
Or perhaps an area of your life that you feel dissatisfied with?
Notice what comes to mind.
And notice what emotions are present when you think about this.
Again,
Don't try to push these emotions away.
Don't try to change them.
When you think about this part of you that you are dissatisfied with,
Can you simply say yes to this part of you?
Just try.
Try to say yes to this part of you.
This part you feel dissatisfied with.
I invite you to think about your relationship with money.
Notice what arises within you.
Notice what images,
Feelings,
Or sensations come over you.
Without trying to change anything or push it away,
Can you simply say yes?
Can you say yes to money?
Say yes to money some more.
Can you say yes to money?
Can you say yes to how your body is feeling when it thinks about money?
Say yes to what you are experiencing.
Say yes.
And just notice what shifts.
I invite you to think about a goal that you are working towards.
Something you want to accomplish.
Notice what feelings arise,
What images,
Sensations.
Picture yourself reaching your goal.
See the image.
Can you say yes to this image?
Say yes to this image of yourself completing your goal.
Say yes.
Think about your goal once again.
This goal you're working towards.
Can you say yes to your goal?
Say yes to your goal.
Think about your goal one more time.
Notice what arises in your body,
In your mind.
Can you say yes to whatever is arising?
Now think about one of your most important relationships.
See this person.
Notice what you feel.
Notice what images,
Sensations,
Or stories arise within you.
When you think about this person,
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to this person?
Can you say yes to this relationship?
Simply relax.
Take a breath.
See if you can say yes.
Now think about something that you need to do today.
Or if it's late at night,
Perhaps something you need to do tomorrow.
Think about something you need to accomplish.
Picture yourself doing this thing.
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to this task?
Can you say yes to the day ahead of you?
Come back to yourself.
Once again,
Notice your body.
Notice your whole body as one unit.
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to your whole body?
Can you say yes to taking up space?
Can you say yes to who you are?
All of you.
All the parts of you.
Everything that makes you,
You.
Can you say yes?
Can you say yes to who you are?
Say yes to who you are.
Take a deep breath in.
Release and let go.
Simply rest in this energy of yes.
