This is a moment for pause.
A moment for when you're feeling overwhelmed,
Too busy,
Maybe anxious.
I just want to take a few minutes to break up today and collect your thoughts and check in with yourself,
The breath,
And your body.
You can sit,
Stand,
Lay down,
Even go for a walk.
Whatever you feel will best serve you in this present moment.
We're going to move through a few quick exercises to center yourself and slow down.
Beginning with the body.
Wherever you are,
Make any small movements your posture allows that you know will help you relax and release some tension you may be holding on to.
Weather that is rolling through the wrists and ankles,
Stretching the arms overhead,
Some small rotations through the neck,
Lifting the shoulders up and relaxing them down the back,
Or just releasing the full weight of your body to the ground.
Take a moment to focus on the body.
Moving on to the breath,
Let us take 10 deep breaths together.
In through the nose,
Deep down into the abdomen,
And then slowly releasing the breath audibly out the mouth,
Aiming to completely fill and empty the lungs on each breath.
Take a moment down to move through this.
Finally,
Let's shift into a space of gratitude.
I want you to think of at least three things you are grateful for about your life or just about your day.
It can be anything no matter how small.
We often take many things for granted that are a part of our everyday life.
So now,
Let's take the next few moments to appreciate all we have.
I hope this quick meditative experience has helped you find a moment for pause at a time you may really need it.
This is something you can do anytime that you feel you need it.
Until next time,
And with love,
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti,
Namaste.
