Friend.
I'm so glad you're here.
Thank you so much for joining me for this very special,
Unique,
Mindful journey through time,
Where we'll be invited to connect with our past,
Future,
And present self.
Each moment in time offers its own unique lessons and experiences,
Insights,
And wisdom.
So,
By opening ourselves up to these connections,
We gain access to a deeper sense of wisdom.
Maybe that helps us to gain some perspective and clarity around something that has been unclear and uncertain.
Or maybe this journey is simply one of compassion and care and love and kindness towards ourselves and the versions of ourselves.
So,
Letting this journey unfold,
And really,
Can it be one of connection,
One of reflection,
One of receptivity towards whatever we need to receive and hear in this moment.
So,
Let's begin.
And on this special journey,
We begin by finding a comfortable position in our body,
By orientating to stillness.
Whether we're sitting or lying down,
Whether our eyes are closed fully or with a soft,
Gentle gaze,
Let's begin by really noticing ourselves arriving here.
Feeling the body breathing and that sense of landing here in this moment.
Maybe setting aside any agendas that we might have,
Even for this practice,
Or any to-do lists,
Things that we're carrying into this practice.
We know that they'll be here for us after we're finished our journey today.
We can easily pick them back up.
But this journey,
We just really need the present moment.
And we also need a comfortable environment physically to be in.
So,
Maybe it's the space that you're in.
You feel quite comfortable and at ease there.
But there's an opportunity here,
An invitation to also visualize a place,
Maybe in nature,
Deep in the woods,
Or out on the beach.
Maybe it's a dwelling,
A cabin,
Or a cottage,
Or you might just be out in the wilderness,
Out in the grand landscape of nature.
It's choosing a place that you really feel at ease and comfortable in,
So you can really sense yourself settling in,
That sense of tranquility beginning to wash over you.
And if you're in a dwelling,
You might hear a knock at the door,
Or if you're outside,
You might hear someone's footsteps.
Either way,
You greet whoever has come to come see you.
And you see that it's this younger version of yourself standing in front of you,
Noticing what that's like to gently gaze at this younger version of yourself,
Seeing them clearly.
What are they wearing?
How are they standing,
Or what's their posture or body language?
What's their facial expression?
Can you sense any emotions that might be present within them?
And how do you feel standing in their presence?
Are you visited by any memories,
Maybe bittersweet,
Maybe some unresolved emotions?
It's really important to acknowledge whatever's arising in this moment,
Being radically honest about what that is.
So if you're experiencing not much at all,
Knowing you don't need to fabricate or create an experience,
You can simply just be with that and what that's like.
And perhaps you can maybe lean into those feelings of warmth and care,
Noticing how they effortlessly flow between your present self and your younger self in this moment,
And that there is a great degree of comfort and support there and trust between you two.
And can you really feel that?
Maybe you embrace or make some kind of physical contact,
But allowing this exchange or interaction to be one held in the container of silence,
That therapeutic silence.
And now it's time for your younger self to depart,
But before they go,
They ask you to put out your hand and they place a beautifully wrapped box in it.
And inside this box is a note.
And this note is something that your younger self wants you to know right now.
So allowing yourself to both receive this gift and this offering.
Observing how it comes to life for you in this moment.
And as your younger self begins to fade off in the distance,
You notice someone else coming towards you.
And this time,
It's your future self.
And so you see an older version of yourself standing right in front of you and noticing what that's like.
What do you see?
How are they dressed?
How do they move?
What is their general essence or energy?
Their presence.
Notice what's coming up for you as you're gazing into the eyes of this older version of you.
Do you feel any emotions?
Can you feel a flow of warmth and care moving effortlessly between both your present self and your future self?
And can you sense that really deep feeling of trust and of safety and of support that you both really get one another?
And now it's time for your older self to depart.
But as you sensed,
Your older self has something for you.
And they ask you to put out your hand.
And this time,
They place a gift into your hand,
Unwrapped,
And then lean in and whisper something in your ear.
They whisper something to you that they know you need to hear in this moment.
Or something that will support you as you continue on in your journey.
Perhaps a piece of advice.
Perhaps some encouragement.
It's taking a few moments to both receive the gift and the offering from your future self.
And as your future self fades off into the distance,
You find yourself here with your ever-present presence.
Your present self.
Noticing how sitting with your present self is also a gift.
Take a few moments here to appreciate this connection with your present self.
And then bringing in and welcoming the presence of your younger self,
Your past self,
And your older version of yourself,
Your future self.
And acknowledging how they're all here with you in this moment.
All versions of you.
All here with their own innate wisdom and goodness.
Here to help guide you and support you.
Each version of ourselves offers our own unique experiences and lessons and messages.
Insights and wisdom.
So let's take a moment here just to sit and honor and nurture all of them.
As we come to the end of this journey.
Not alone.
But feeling whole and complete.
Just as we are in this moment.
So may we take a few moments to wish ourselves well.
And maybe we want to wish our past self well.
May we be well and happy and peaceful and at ease.
And our future self.
May we be well,

And right now,
Our ever-present self.
