If you're an artist by trade,
You're probably familiar with and some of those creative blocks.
And some of those creative blocks can.
.
.
Come from external influences.
But they can also come from just some sense of stuckness.
Inside whether it's some sort of psychological issue.
But even if we aren't an artist by trade,
We all have an innate.
Creative spirit within us that longs to express itself.
So it doesn't necessarily need.
A finished product.
Sometimes it's just.
A means of expression like an exhale.
Because otherwise that bound up creative energy can harden.
And cause a lot of problems.
So.
If you aren't familiar with A blessing it seems.
Just a short blessing that you can do.
Every time you embark on a creative effort.
And you can see it every day or.
And say it every time you would like to engage in a creative effort.
And again,
Even if you don't see yourself as an artist,
This blessing will infuse that energy of creativity into your day.
And you might be surprised how creative you actually are.
So,
Let's begin.
By taking a deep breath.
And saying it out.
Another deep breath in.
Exhale,
Let's hear a very loud sigh.
Maybe there's a moan or groan.
And another deep breath in and.
Form your lips into a circle and make like a heart shape.
Whistling sound,
A like the wind.
And if you enjoyed.
Those deep breaths.
Especially those long exhales.
I invite you to continue as you let this blessing be infused in you.
Today.
I begin living like an artist.
Not careful.
Not contained.
But wild with attention.
Alive with color.
Unmeasured by clock.
I live by rhythm instead of rules.
By intuition.
Instead of expectation.
By moment.
Instead of permission.
I create.
I improvise.
I follow the spark wherever it dares me to go.
I am my own authority now.
No longer shaped by the narrow lines others once drew around me.
Lines of approval.
Lines of acceptability.
Lines of Fear.
I step beyond them.
My words are chosen carefully.
Not to inflame,
But to illuminate.
Not a revolution of noise.
But a quiet revolt against the false self I have outgrown.
I no longer need to belong.
I no longer need to be admired.
I no longer need to be chosen.
I'm already claimed by something deeper.
I am in love,
Not sediment.
But presence.
I breathe love.
I create from love.
My work becomes love made visible.
And isn't that what matters the most?
So sit for a moment.
Let those words just infuse your entire being.
Let the words come alive within you.
And energize and awaken.
That gift of creativity.
Let that river flow.
And may all.
Your creations.
Be a true inspiration.
For the world.
Take care.
