Today we're talking about the idea of pride is hollow.
Whenever you think I accomplished this or I deserve this,
You are mistaken.
Whenever you believe you have created something,
What you are really experiencing is convergence of the energies of flow which have led to your present position.
When you understand that your ego is not in charge,
It is easy to release pride,
The universe.
So I find this fascinating because so often we think we did it or we think we did it by ourselves or we think we did it maybe with the help of a team or the help of other people,
But in fact there's this idea of I did this or I accomplished this or these are my accomplishments.
And what the universe is saying here is yeah,
Kinda,
But also kind of not.
You may be a person who was able to get,
Say,
An advanced degree and you did the work and you put in the time and the universe also made it possible for you to be on the track or be on the path that led you to applying to school,
That led you to being able to do the work,
That led you to having the background,
That allowed you to understand the work you were doing,
That led you to have the money,
That either allowed you to pay for this education or to get the student loan.
So this convergence of circumstance and timing and opportunity and where you live in the world,
The time and place you live in the world,
The culture you live in,
Your gender or gender identity,
Your race,
All of these things converge and allow these opportunities to come to you.
So it's not really that you did it,
The universe supported this possibility and assisted you in doing this.
If you're a person who has a super successful startup or a business,
There's this tendency to think I did this.
Again,
It's the same thing,
The universe converged all the details exactly in your favor or exactly to support you.
It's not just you with your ego doing something and being the one who has done it all by themselves.
This is a difficult concept because especially in the West we're taught that we're individuals,
That our success is our own business and we forget that this time and place that many of us have found ourselves is a time and place of,
And this is not the case for everyone listening,
I understand that it's different in different parts of the world,
But many people just have enormous support for these outer aspects of success we might call or wealth or these outer markers and this is why they're able to do these because the universe is supporting this path.
I would remind you that success or wealth or ambitious goals completed or all the ways we tend to think we're doing great in the world have absolutely nothing to do with your soul's expansion.
You might be sitting in a park doing absolutely nothing and you might be having more soul expansion or more understanding than the person running the company.
It's easy to think that we do things but really we do things in tandem with the universe and best case scenario is we are letting the universe lead us and best case scenario is our soul is expanding not our ego.
