Welcome,

Dear friends.

This is Sarah and I'm so happy to be back with you again.

This is our guided and interactive practice for the new moon in Leo.

And as always,

This is a space for you to come in,

Sit down,

Reflect,

Journal a little,

And then set your intentions for the coming cycle.

A new moon is always a new beginning,

It's a fresh start.

And this lovely Leo new moon gives us a chance to connect with our hearts.

So if you need to,

Go now and grab a pen and paper or your journal,

And then come back in,

Sit down,

And let's sit together for a while.

If you're here and you're ready,

Let's take a breath.

And let's see if we can start off by dropping into our hearts.

And see if you can feel your heart center.

Maybe you might want to place your hand over your heart.

And see if you can feel the energy that's there.

The heart has an electromagnetic field that extends more than four feet from the body.

It's much stronger than the brain.

And the heart is where we find our courage,

Our bravery,

Our strength,

And our truth.

Let's breathe into our hearts.

Let's breathe into the essence of us that is not just the organ that pumps blood around the body.

We use the heart to symbolize many things.

We say that we get to the heart of a matter.

We cross our hearts when we promise something.

We use it to describe our essence.

We say,

At heart I am.

And sometimes we can be afraid of it.

Because it's the seat of all of our truth,

Our vulnerability,

Our strength,

And our courage.

And sometimes that can feel overwhelming.

Let's disnumin,

Let's be courageous.

Let's embody the spirit of Leo the lion,

King of the jungle.

The astrological symbol for Leo is a lion but it's also representative of the two halves of a heart.

Let's be lion-hearted,

This new moon.

Grab your journal,

Grab your pen and paper.

Let's reflect together.

If we are to live a lion-hearted life,

Our hearts must be open.

And so often we keep them closed because we are afraid.

We are afraid to let our truth,

Our vulnerability,

And the truth center and essence of us shine.

Because we're afraid of being hurt.

We're afraid of being vulnerable.

And we're afraid to take a leap.

So let's take some time now to think about the ways we are keeping our hearts closed.

And write them down.

Let's think about the structures we have built up that we are using to protect our hearts.

I'll keep an eye on the time for you and I'll come back to you in two minutes.

Thank you.

There's one minute left.

Take deep.

Take deep.

In this year of crumbling structures and outdated beliefs being broken down,

Let's think now about the ways in which we can tear down the structures that we have built up around our hearts.

So in whatever way you have been keeping your heart closed,

How can you now open it?

What will it take for you to do that?

How will being vulnerable feel?

Take some time and write it down.

I'll come back to you in two minutes.

Take deep.

There's one minute left.

And don't worry if this feels vulnerable and raw and emotional.

It's meant to.

Take deep.

Let's think now about the spirit of Leo,

The lion heart.

Where can you be brave and courageous and take a leap of faith this month?

Where can you use that courage and that strength that you find in your heart?

Take deep.

Take deep.

You have one minute left.

Be brave.

Take deep.

Let's set our intentions for the coming weeks now together.

Intentions are our guiding principles.

They're the list of things that we live our lives by.

So they are broad statements.

They are a broad vibration that we will live at.

And then we set our smaller goals that will bring us in alignment with that intention.

So take some time now to think about how you want to feel for the next few weeks.

How you want to be,

How you want to show up.

And turn that into intentions.

Maybe you might say something like,

I am lion hearted.

Write all of those down.

Use I am your most powerful statement.

Let's set our intentions for the coming weeks.

And I'll come back to you in two minutes.

Thank you.

You've got one minute left.

Make sure your intentions are in alignment with the best lion hearted version of you.

Now that we have our intentions for the next few weeks.

You can spend the next few days adding to your list of inspired action and goals.

That will support your intention.

You might like to choose a mantra for the month.

A simple statement that supports your intentions that you can repeat to yourself every single day.

That just brings you to the vibration of your intentions.

You can choose something as simple as I am in alignment with my intentions.

Or you can choose your own.

And just use it as a reminder every day to show up.

Let's drop back into the heart now.

And spend one last minute together.

And let's visualize our intentions.

Let's play them out on the movie screen in your mind.

And see your life.

As you live it in alignment with your intentions.

One minute to do that and I'll come back to you.

Be specific.

Think big.

And feel the energy from your heart.

You can finish as always with a thank you and if you like you can say out loud,

It is done.

Check in on your inspired action over the next few days.

Repeat your mantra.

And remember that you are lion hearted.

Much love.

Happy new moon.
