A guided practice for the full moon in Gemini.
Welcome dear friends this is Sarah and I'm so happy to have you with me again.
This practice is intended for you to join in with on the full moon in Gemini or really at any time in your life when you want to sit back and reflect on what you need to let go of and release in order to move forward.
Gemini is mutable air energy,
It's flexible,
It's adaptable and the full moon in Gemini comes in December and if you're doing this in 2019 it is the last full moon of the decade.
Full moons are always a time of release and never more so than with this very last full moon of the year and of the decade which also coincides with asteroid Chiron going direct.
This asteroid is often referred to by astrologers as the wounded healer and it can represent parts of ourselves where there is a hurt,
Past trauma,
Something that we haven't been able to heal within ourselves.
Chiron is in Aries at the moment and Aries energy is very authentic.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and we often use Aries energy to really think about what the true authentic version of yourself looks like.
Aries wants you to stand up,
Step out and be counted.
So we can look at this asteroid turning direct as a moment to stop everything that's been holding us back from being our truest most authentic selves.
Whatever that wound is that we haven't been able to heal now is the time to let go of it.
So if you're ready it would be wonderful if you had a pen and paper with you to write some things down.
You might want to light a candle or just make your space beautiful and comfortable and let's tap in together to the energy of this wonderful full moon.
I'd like us to begin by reflecting on the year that is coming to a close and a wonderful thing to do at this time of year is to sit with your intentions if you set them at the new moon with your journal or even just to look through your social media posts and to identify all of the wonderful things that have happened this year and there will be many more of them than you actually remember.
But for now just take some time to think back over the year,
Think back to the wonderful things that have happened,
Think back to the more challenging things that have happened and take some time to write those down.
We want to be quite quick with this so I'll keep an eye on the time and I'll come back to you in two minutes.

You you you can look back now on everything that's happened this year and we can feel gratitude for all the wonderful abundance that's shown up in our lives but we can also use this as a tool to identify areas where we need to let go of something in order for us to move forward and if we tap into that energy of the full moon and of Chiron turning direct we can really identify what that wound is,
What that hurt is that we haven't been able to move past.
Is it a relationship hurt?
Is it a friendship?
What is it that's stopping you?
We can take some time now to write down what it is that we need to heal with this energy.

You you now that we have identified that area of our lives that we need to just heal and move on from we can use this full moon in a ritual to help us to do that and one of the most powerful ways that we can help ourselves to let go is by writing it down and we can turn everything that we've written down that we want to heal from into positive statements.
So this time we can use words like I release or even more powerful I am free from.
Often when Chiron is in retrograde as it has been for the past few months we can feel sorry for ourselves and we can almost have that victim mentality and nothing is going to change for me this is how it is when your heart feels overwhelming and it can turn into resentment and into anger and if we have all of this inside of ourselves and we don't let it go we are stopping ourselves from reaching our highest potential but we're also stopping ourselves from letting others in we are stopping connection we are putting up barriers to intimacy whether that's with friends whether it's in a relationship or it's with family so we can use this full moon to let go of all of that to remind ourselves that the last full moon of the year and of the decade is a time to let things go so that we can begin anew again next year.
With all of this in mind let's take some time now to write down what we release what we are now free of and what is holding us back.
Be positive make it an affirmation.

As you finish up your positive affirmations it's possible to feel lighter to feel refreshed and to feel like a weight has been lifted.
If you'd like to you can finish your ritual by symbolically letting everything go that you've written down.
You might want to rip your paper up into tiny pieces.
You might want to burn it and for Gemini it would be wonderful to call on the element of air and let the wind take it.
So maybe you want to rip up your paper into tiny pieces take it outside take it to the top of a hill just even open the window and ask the wind to take it away.
Know that by doing this we are taking steps towards a new decade a new beginning and that we need to leave behind in 2019 everything that no longer serve us and sometimes these internal wounds and hurts and grudges that we carry hold us back as much as the negative behaviors patterns and thoughts do.
You might like to end your ritual with a thank you and with an affirmation and one that I use often you can repeat to yourself and that is I release negative energy thoughts and emotions and I welcome joy love and happiness and you can finish just by saying it is done.
