I am a mom meditation.
Begin by closing your eyes.
You can be lying down or sitting up in a comfortable position.
Take a deep breath in and exhale out.
Another deep breath in and exhale out.
Each time you breathe in,
You inhale a beautiful healing light.
And each time you exhale,
Leaves all the stress and all the worry from your body.
And now imagine this beautiful light is hovering above your head.
It begins to enter your body in through your head.
And it illuminates your brain and your spinal cord and your neck,
Healing all of those places.
And it continues to travel down through your chest into your heart.
And your heart begins to take this beautiful light and pumps it through all of your arteries and veins throughout your entire body.
Until your whole body is glowing with this beautiful healing light.
All of the stress and all of the worry of your day simply disappears.
And now use the power of your imagination and picture yourself at the top of a long winding staircase.
You start moving down the staircase.
Down,
Down.
Finally making your way,
Spiraling down to the bottom of the stairs.
And at the bottom of the stairs,
You notice a door.
You open the door and you find yourself in a beautiful,
Luscious garden.
Look around you.
What do you see?
What do you smell?
Is the sun shining?
What time of day is it?
What do you hear?
You stroll around in this gorgeous space.
It's comforting and soothing.
Until you come upon a place to rest.
And as you sit down,
You notice something shiny on the ground.
You bend to pick it up.
It's a snow globe.
You can't resist your curiosity and you shake the snow globe.
And as the snow inside clears,
You're watching a scene where there is a family.
Exactly as you envision your Sunday.
Wait a minute.
It is your family.
Peer into this globe and imagine what it is you see.
In this picture,
You've finally moved past any fertility issues.
And you're now a mom.
What does that look like?
Where are you?
Who is with you?
How many kids are there?
If there are more than one,
Are they all yours?
Is your partner or spouse there?
Where are they?
What are they doing?
Look at your face.
What expression is there?
Now,
Feel the feelings that the you in the snow globe is feeling.
As you peer at your face and at the face of the people around you,
What emotions are you feeling?
You might say to yourself,
I am feeling pure joy.
I'm feeling gratitude.
I'm feeling excitement.
I'm feeling that it's amazing to finally be a mom.
I'm feeling wonderful.
I'm feeling wonder.
I'm feeling peaceful.
I'm feeling like all of the puzzle pieces fit perfectly.
I feel like I'm floating on air.
I'm feeling like everything I went through was worth it.
I'm feeling like a mom.
The snow globe scene begins to fade.
As you look at the base of the globe,
You notice a little inscription.
It says the following.
This is your future.
This is your destiny.
Rest comfortably knowing that it is already on its way.
It's already on its way.
