Welcome to your morning meditation.
My name is Leela and I will be your guide today.
It's best to do this meditation as soon as you wake up.
Sit down comfortably or stay in bed.
Whatever works best for you.
We're going to start with some cleansing breaths.
Be intentional.
This will help you to relax your mind and body.
Take a deep breath through your nose and out through your mouth.
Feel your lungs filling up with air as you breathe in,
In,
In and let out through your mouth.
Notice what you feel,
What you experience.
This exercise will help you to stay in the present moment and focus on what is happening now.
In,
In and out through your mouth.
Repeat this another five times in your own pace.
If you get a bit lightheaded,
It is okay.
Take deep breaths in,
Fill up your lungs and with a big sigh let it all out.
Now I want you to take a deep breath in and hold it.
Hold it for five seconds and notice what you feel when you are not breathing.
And out through your mouth.
Let's do this one more time.
Take a deep breath in,
In,
In and hold it for five seconds.
Two,
One and let it all out through your mouth.
Be grateful for breathing.
It keeps you alive.
We sometimes forget how lucky we are to be able to breathe.
So give grace.
Be thankful.
Now,
I want you to focus on your body.
Wherever you feel tension from the sleep or from yesterday,
Focus on that spot and send it love.
Go through every area in your body that you feel the tension in and send it love and thank God for the love that you give for working so hard.
Tell Him that it's okay to relax now.
It's so important to feel grateful for our body.
It's working 24-7 to keep us alive.
Pumping blood through our veins,
Going through thousands of emotions every day.
And once you went through every spot that you felt tension in,
Let's relax your whole body.
Relax your toes,
Your shin,
Your thighs.
Relax your hips and your stomach.
Relax your chest.
Let your shoulders drop.
Relax your arms and your fingers.
Relax your throat,
Your mouth.
Let your tongue drop.
Relax your eyes and your forehead.
Sit in this moment for a minute and try to focus on your breath.
You get distracted,
But it's okay.
Go back to your breath.
Now that your body is ready for the day,
I want you to get your mind ready too.
Repeat after me.
Today is a good day.
I can do whatever today brings.
With every breath,
My confidence and self-love grows.
With every breath,
My confidence and self-love grows.
I never give up.
I never give up.
I never give up.
Today is a good day.
Maybe you smile.
You might see colours or lights in front of you.
Focus in the middle of them.
Just enjoy this moment without judgement.
Now slowly,
You can bring back your attention to your body.
Wiggle your toes or fingers.
You can stretch a little.
And whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes.
I'm so happy we spent this time together.
I hope you enjoyed it too.
Have a beautiful day.
I'm so happy.
I'm so happy.
I'm so happy.
I'm so happy.
I'm so happy.
