My name is Nolo Bloom,

And today I invite you into a beautiful Yoga Nidra called Unveiling the Mysteries of the Heart,

A sacred journey of rest,

Remembrance,

This is an invitation to soften effort,

To settle deeply,

And to listen beneath the surface of all things.

This Yoga Nidra unfolds within an inner temple,

Tucked into a lush tropical forest beside a gently flowing jungle creek.

Here,

Water moves slowly over soft stones and gathers in quiet pools,

Shaded by tall trees and thick greenery.

Stillness,

Water,

And quiet presence guide this journey inward,

Allowing the mysteries of the heart to be unveiled gradually through presence,

Care,

And quiet awareness.

So lie down in a way that feels nourishing and supported.

Use cushions,

Blankets,

Or anything else your body needs to feel held so you can completely relax.

Close down the eyes and feel the earth beneath you taking the entire weight of your body.

Let the breath soften,

Let the shoulders melt,

And let the weight of the day begin to melt away.

Take a slow,

Nourishing breath in,

And exhale with a gentle sigh.

Allow the sound of my voice to guide you on this journey,

Steady and unhurried,

Like a calm current carrying you inward.

As you settle,

Let the tiny muscles around your eyes soften,

The jaw releases,

The tongue rests easily in the mouth.

As the face lets go,

Notice how the rest of the body responds.

Feel the steady support beneath your back,

Your hips,

And your legs.

The ground receives your weight without effort.

Now imagine yourself resting within the inner temple,

A quiet sanctuary shaped by time and nature,

The space feels cool and spacious,

The stone worn smooth by years of presence and prayer.

Above you,

A woven roof of palm and grass softens the light,

Creating a sense of shelter and calm.

Gentle light filters through the leaves and openings,

Dappling the temple floor in quiet patterns.

Open arches allow fresh air to move freely,

Carrying the subtle scent of earth and water.

Close by,

The water slips gently across the smooth stones,

Pausing in small,

Shaded pools before meandering onward.

The sound is soft,

Steady,

And peaceful.

Within the temple,

The quiet presence of a ceremonial gong rests nearby,

Like a deep anchor,

Grounding the space with depth and gravity.

The quality of this place feels intimate and protected,

As if the outer world has gently fallen away.

As you rest here,

Sense yourself arriving more fully,

Everything unfolds in its own perfect time.

You are gently received,

The luminous temple keepers gather here at the gateway between earth and sky.

Their presence feels reverent and precious,

Like guardians tending a sacred threshold.

A soft glow forms at the crown,

Cool and luminous,

As if moonlight is gently resting there.

Light pours downward,

Unhurried,

Soothing the scalp and the space beneath.

The illumination awakens a sense of quiet receptivity and opening to deeper listening.

Bring awareness to the space between the eyebrows,

Center of intuition and insight.

The luminous current flows naturally here.

One of the keepers draws closer,

Holds their hand just above,

And the glow gathers again,

Subtle and clear,

Like light reflecting on still water,

Intuition awakens softly,

Without effort,

And allow awareness to gently flow onward to the right side of the face,

Temple,

Cheek,

Jaw.

Warm light moves slowly here,

Releasing held tension.

Bring awareness to the left side of the face,

Temple,

Cheek,

Jaw.

Luminous warmth flows,

Calming and steady.

Bring awareness to the right shoulder.

Light flows through the shoulder,

The upper arm,

Elbow,

Forearm,

And the wrist.

Warm light pools in the palm of the right hand.

Each finger receives this glow,

Flowing gently into each and every fingertip.

Sense the entire right arm as one continuous flow of sensation.

Bring awareness to the left shoulder.

Light flows through the shoulder,

Upper arm,

Elbow,

Forearm,

And the wrist.

Light gathers in the palm of the left hand.

Each finger softens as the glow illuminates each and every fingertip.

Sense the entire left arm as one continuous flow of sensation.

Bring awareness to the center of the chest.

The temple keepers draw a little closer.

Their hands hover over the heart space.

Warm light radiates softly,

Moving with the rhythm of the breath.

Beneath sensation and emotion,

A quiet depth makes itself known.

A steady tenderness.

A gentle strength.

A sense of recognition that does not require words.

This is one of the mysteries of the heart.

Something that is felt rather than understood.

Feel the heart illuminated by the light.

Bring awareness to the belly.

Light flows downward in soft circular waves.

The abdomen rises and falls with ease and grace.

Light flows through the organs,

Releasing tension.

The belly softens a little more.

Bring awareness to the right hip.

Light flows through the hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

And ankle.

Warm light pools in the sole of the right foot.

Each toe receives attention,

One by one.

Sense the entire right leg resting as one unified flow of sensation.

Bring awareness to the left hip.

Light flows through the hip,

Thigh,

Knee.

Warm light gathers in the sole of the left foot.

Each toe softens as the glow reaches each and every toe.

Sense the entire left leg glowing as one luminous field of sensation.

Sense the whole body now.

From crown to soles,

Fingertips to toes.

The body rests bathed in soft moonlight.

Light and warmth weave gently through every part of the body.

Resting as one unified field of sensation.

Feel the body becoming heavy now.

Weight settles downward like smooth stones resting in cool,

Steady water.

Muscles soften.

Bones feel grounded and supported.

Allow this heaviness to deepen.

Sinking down,

Down,

Down.

Now sense a gentle shift.

Lightness begins to rise.

The body feels buoyant and open.

As if lifted by warm air.

Space widens.

The breath feels expansive.

Allow the lightness to unfold.

Rising upward and onward.

Heaviness returns.

Steady and calm.

Lightness rises once more.

Spacious and free.

Allow heaviness and lightness to merge into oneness.

Grounded and lifted at the same time.

Balanced and whole.

Now bring awareness to the breath.

Feel the gentle movement of air through the nostrils.

The gentle rise and fall of the chest.

The soft expansion and release of the belly.

Inhale and exhale.

The breath moves like a quiet tide.

Steady and unforced.

The inhale brings subtle spaciousness.

The exhale carries the body deeper into ease.

You are being breathed by something greater.
