To celebrate Women’s Equality Day today, the women of Insight Timer have decided to donate US$20,000 to three causes close to their hearts and homes.
Veronica, our Head of Publishing will work closely with people from her hometown in Caracas to support education and underprivileged girls. Hetal, who runs our Indian Office, will do the same in her local city of Surat, India. And Celine, from the Philippines, will distribute her donation for the same purpose. We will keep you posted on their progress.
There are many millions of girls around the world who need help. This donation is our small way of supporting just a few of them, while recognising the many powerful stories of women who work at Insight Timer. Today, three of them will be able to give back to their local communities.
We’re so proud that more than half the team at Insight Timer are women. We hope you have enjoyed meeting some of them over the last two weeks. The initiative was so popular amongst our team that we have decided to continue posting stories over the coming months. Women’s Equality Day should be every day.
