Allow yourself to find a comfortable position.

Let your body and mind settle right where you are.

Feel the life force moving through you,

Each breath coming in,

Bringing energy into your body,

Nourishing your cells,

Each breath going out,

Softening and releasing tension as the breath travels down your body from head to toe.

When you're ready,

Choose a quality that if it were present today,

Would bring with it a deep sense of well-being for you.

Perhaps this might be calm,

Patience,

Self-kindness,

Creativity,

Focus,

Vitality,

Gratitude,

Or something else.

Imagine that you are in the presence of a person or being,

Real or imagined,

Who embodies this quality.

Imagine that being around this person or being,

You can feel this quality radiating from their heart to yours.

Breathe it in with each breath,

This quality sinking into deeper and deeper layers of your being so that as you sense this and feel this,

You are awakening this quality in you that is already here.

Picture a light in front of you,

Like a beacon that guides ships to safe harbor.

This beacon of light radiates the quality that you most want to experience.

The light of your beacon connects you with this quality,

Helps you keep it in sight so that you can continuously take it in and let it guide you throughout the day.

Picture going through the day with this beacon of light in front of you,

Carrying and embodying this quality of deep well-being in your heart.

Picture how you will go through your day staying connected to your beacon and to the version of yourself that you'd like to be,

Living from this quality.

What choices will you make today?

How will you show up and let this quality radiate from within you?

As you go through the day,

See this beacon shining in front of you,

Calling you home to the true essence of who you are.

When you're ready,

Take some deeper,

More intentional breaths.

Feel your feet on the ground.

Take your time and come back into the room at your own pace.
