Welcome to this Man on the Path to Love meditation,
Rebuilding confidence from within after divorce or breakup.
This meditation is a chance for you to come back to yourself,
Not who you were in your previous relationship,
But who you are becoming now.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
And as you settle in,
Gently close your eyes.
Let's start with a few deep,
Slow breaths to transition into this meditation.
Take a deep,
Slow breath through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Deep breath in and slowly exhale.
One more time,
Deep breath in and let it all go.
Now return to your normal way of breathing,
Not forcing it,
Just your natural way of breathing,
Your natural rhythm.
And simply notice your breath coming in and going out.
Notice where your breath shows up in your body.
Where do you feel your breath in your body?
And as you do this,
Allow your mind and body to settle and just be here in this moment,
Bringing your awareness to your body.
Notice where you're holding tension or pressure and see if you can soften a little bit.
And notice your neck and shoulders.
This is where we carry a lot of pressure,
Carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders.
Noticing your jaw,
Where we hold a lot of tension and control.
Noticing your chest and your stomach,
Where we hold emotions.
Notice your back,
Noticing your arms and hands,
Legs and feet.
And as you notice your body,
Take another deep breath in and on the exhale,
See if you can soften your body just a little bit more,
Just a little bit.
And as you continue to soften your body,
Bring awareness inside yourself.
Not to the version of you that existed in your past relationship,
But to the version of you that is here right now.
Because this version of you is still standing.
You're still here.
You're still learning.
You're still growing.
And that says a lot about who you are.
Now,
You may have moments where you question yourself,
Where your confidence feels a little shaky,
Where doubt creeps in.
And that's okay.
Because the truth is,
Confidence isn't something you lost.
It's something that got buried.
Buried under the disappointment,
Under the doubt,
Under the pain,
Under the experiences that didn't go the way you hoped.
And right now,
It's your time to reconnect with it.
Not by forcing it,
But by allowing it to rebuild from within,
From the inside.
Take a deep breath in,
And let it go.
And as you reconnect with your confidence,
Imagine yourself standing.
Not the old version of you,
But a steadier version,
A more aware version of you.
A man who doesn't beat himself up,
And sees himself as a failure,
But a man who has learned from what he's been through.
That takes a lot of courage and strength.
So give yourself a moment to take that in.
And now with your new sense of strength,
The strength of awareness and recognizing what you've learned,
Notice how you're standing.
Notice your posture.
Notice your breath.
And notice how present you are.
There's no need to rush with this.
No need to prove anything.
Just a quiet sense of strength.
See yourself standing tall,
Breathing deeply,
Standing in your shoes with confidence.
And with that quiet sense of strength,
You begin to trust yourself again.
Not because everything is certain,
But because you know you can handle whatever comes next.
You've already been through a lot of hard stuff,
And if you can get through those experiences,
You can get through anything.
That's what these experiences teach us.
And through it all,
You're still here.
Let that land.
Sit with it.
And breathe.
And with each breath,
You rebuild a little more trust.
You rebuild a little more clarity.
And you rebuild a little more confidence.
Not all at once,
But one step at a time.
Just one percent.
You don't have to climb the mountain and get to the summit in one step.
You do it one step at a time.
And as you are here listening to this meditation,
Just remember,
You're not starting over.
You're starting from experience.
And having had that experience,
It's your opportunity,
Your turning point for you to rebuild and show up differently next time.
And with that thought,
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And slowly,
Gently exhale.
Again,
Deep breath in.
Now go back to your natural way of breathing.
Notice your in-breath.
Notice your out-breath.
Notice your breath in your body once again.
And take a moment to reflect on gratitude.
Just one thing you're grateful for in this moment.
Anything at all.
Big,
Small,
In between.
It doesn't matter.
Just offer gratitude for one thing.
And with that gratitude,
Take one more deep,
Slow breath in.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open up your eyes.
Once you do,
Notice what you see in the space you're in.
Feel your body's awareness.
Moving your fingers,
Toes,
Stretching.
Please note that this is a meditation that you can do over and over again to help reinforce the confidence you already have within as you move forward as the man you are becoming to do it differently next time.
Thank you for sharing your practice with me.
