Welcome to this Men on the Path to Love meditation.
Make your relationship sacred.
Seeing everything in your relationship as sacred is a mindset.
This meditation is designed to help you create that mindset and to connect to the sacredness of your relationship.
I invite you now to make yourself comfortable in your preferred meditation position.
And let's transition into this meditation with three deep,
Slow breaths.
Becoming aware of your breath in and out.
Finding the awareness of your breath in your body.
And returning now to your natural breath,
Your normal way of breathing,
Allowing your body to release any tension you may be holding.
And let your mind go of any concerns or distractions.
Feel yourself grounding into this present moment,
Into the sacred space of love and connection.
Allow yourself to fully arrive here.
Bring to mind the person you love,
Your spouse or partner,
And allow their presence to fill your heart.
And set a conscious intention to honor your love in its highest form.
Recognize that your relationship isn't just ordinary,
It's sacred.
And with each breath you take,
Bring in a sense of the sacred energy you desire in your relationship.
Imagine yourself fully engaged with your partner,
Listening deeply,
Seeing your partner through fresh eyes,
Appreciating the beauty of your partner inside and out,
And feel the power of being fully present in love.
And take a moment to offer gratitude,
A silent thank you for your partner's love,
Kindness and presence in your life.
Take time to feel that gratitude.
Now,
Think about everything in your relationship as sacred.
Make your conversations sacred.
Imagine every word you say to your partner has the intention of I love you,
I care about you,
I respect you,
And I want you to feel safe in this relationship.
See the simplest things in your relationship as sacred.
How you greet each other and acknowledge each other's presence with a warm good morning or hello.
The sacredness of sharing a meal,
Sharing a hug,
Seeing holding hands as sacred,
Making eye contact,
Saying I love you with your eyes,
And a heartfelt text when you're thinking of each other.
And the sacredness of just sitting in silence and still feeling connected.
Think of the act of being vulnerable as sacred.
See the sacredness in having empathy for your partner.
And even see the struggles in your relationship as sacred.
Your disagreements and arguments are sacred opportunities to learn,
To understand,
To grow,
And to deepen your connection.
See having patience when you're frustrated as a sacred act.
Look at apologizing and forgiving each other as sacred.
Having the sacred opportunity to support each other when times are hard.
Now take a moment to reflect on some other aspects of your relationship that you could see as sacred.
I invite you now to revisit your intention from the beginning of this meditation.
Take a moment to add or subtract to it if necessary.
Imagine and feel the power of your intention connecting you and your partner,
Like a golden thread bringing your hearts together,
And feeling that connection.
Now take a deep,
Slow breath in,
And let it go.
And slowly bring your awareness back to your breath,
Breathing in a sense of love within you,
And on the exhale,
Imagine sending that love out to your partner.
Breathing in the love within you,
And on the exhale,
Sending your love out to the one you love.
And when you're ready,
Slowly and gently allow your eyes to open up,
And once you do,
Bring awareness to your body,
Moving fingers,
Toes,
Stretch if you need to,
And bring your awareness to the room that you're in.
Take a look around,
Notice what you see,
And make sure you carry this sacred intention that you've created today with you throughout your day,
Whether you're with your spouse or partner,
Or thinking about your spouse or partner.
Please return to this meditation any time you need a reminder that your relationship is sacred.
This has been a Men on the Path to Love meditation.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me,
And until next time,
Keep your heart open and stay on the path to love.
Namaste.
