Find a comfortable seated position or lie down,

Whichever feels more natural to you.

We'll begin our practice by taking a few inhales through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Let's do two more just like that.

Breathe in,

Last one,

Breathe,

And release.

Just taking a moment here to bring the awareness right into your body.

Begin to visualize yourself surrounded by love and support and offer yourself kindness and understanding,

Allowing yourself to let go of any guilt or shame and embrace a sense of peace and self-acceptance.

As you breathe,

Mindfully imagine a bright healing light shining down on you,

Filling you with warmth and love.

See this light as a symbol of your own inner strength and resilience.

Notice anywhere in the body or mind you feel yourself resisting and breathe deeply into that area,

Forgiving yourself for whatever comes to mind,

Letting yourself off the hook for whatever shame or guilt you've been carrying,

Reminding yourself making mistakes is part of our human experience,

Allowing yourself the grace and opportunity to release some weight from the body,

Mind,

And soul.

Breathing in through the nose and exhale.

Breathing in and exhale.

Again at your own pace as you breathe in,

Imagine forgiveness and compassion filling the belly and as you exhale,

Imagine yourself releasing any self-blame,

Any shame or guilt.

As you begin to open the eyes,

Coming back into your space,

Remind yourself that as many times as you need to throughout your day,

You can forgive yourself over and over.
