To this Rise to Shine meditation.

I'm Bex Thompson and thank you for allowing me to be your guide here today.

I invite you now to find a comfortable position either sitting up or laying down,

Beginning to relax your body,

Beginning to relax your mind.

And before we get started with our meditation today,

I will firstly set our intention.

The intention of today's meditation is to pause,

Is to reflect,

To give you the opportunity to stop and acknowledge just how far you have come,

To see all the ways that you have grown,

The ways that you have evolved and to honor the most amazing person that you are in this moment.

As humans we are wired to focus on the next goal or the next experience.

It's fantastic that we shoot for the stars to help ourselves evolve and grow but often we forget to reflect and celebrate the milestones that we have hit.

We forget all the blessings that we have in our life right now and all the amazing things that have brought us to this moment right here today.

So in today's meditation we reflect and we celebrate you.

We will marinate in all your goodness that you have bought into your life so far so that you can go forward with gratitude and in complete admiration of who you already are.

So let's begin our meditation now if you haven't done so already just shutting down your eyes,

Closing off your lenses to the outside world,

Beginning to feel your attention moving inwards.

If you need to make any adjustments or movements do so now so that you are completely comfortable for our journey here today.

And just feel your body relaxing,

Relaxing deeper and deeper,

Being aware of your body's natural rhythm as we turn our attention even more to our inner world,

Connecting,

Noticing the rise and fall of your body as you continue to breathe in and out,

Breathing naturally and allowing every breath you take to take you deeper into relaxation,

Into comfort,

Into total ease,

Feeling this gift of just letting go right now,

Knowing that there is nowhere you need to be or nothing you need to do other than just allowing yourself to relax and connect inwards.

In your mind's eye just imagine standing facing an elevator.

This elevator is your vehicle today to take you deeper down to a new level of total relaxation.

The doors now open and you take a few steps to enter inside.

You are drawn to go inside and you feel so safe getting into this elevator.

As the doors close the elevator will now take you from level 10 all the way down to level 1 and with each floor you will go deeper and deeper down feeling yourself drifting deeper.

Nothing to do but listen enjoy the sound of my voice as your mind becomes quieter supporting your relaxation.

Feeling yourself surrendering,

Becoming heavier,

Completely letting go.

Feeling yourself going deep,

Deep down.

Entering a dreamy state of mind.

Allowing yourself to just let go.

Feeling safe,

Feeling warm,

Feeling so at ease.

So good to just let go.

Mind and body working together.

Feeling so much comfort,

Enjoying the peace,

The tranquility that fills your entire mind,

Your entire body at this moment.

Deeply relaxed,

So receptive as the doors open and you walk out finding a beautiful lake in front of you.

The lake is surrounded by hills and trees,

All so lush,

So deep,

Deep green.

Seeing the beauty and hearing the water gently lapping on the shore.

Feel the sun basking down on you now,

Feeling so warm,

Feeling so nurtured.

This place feels so welcoming,

A place that you could really get used to.

A place where your heart,

Your mind,

Your body and soul feel so grounded,

Feel so vibrant.

You are so safe here and just breathe into the space.

Here is a place where you can listen,

You can reflect,

You can be.

As you walk over to the lake it is perfectly still,

Not even a ripple to be seen.

In fact it is so still that it perfectly reflects mirrors back the mountains and hills that surround you.

And just get a sense of that now,

How that water looks reflecting this beautiful scenery.

As you walk over closer you see the lake is now perfectly reflecting you.

As you look down you can see yourself so clearly in this majestic still lake and now is the time to be so still and to reflect.

As you look at your own reflection your eyes connect,

You feel a deep force of love that lives within you rising now.

You may even feel a sense,

Stir of emotions rising at this time.

As you look deeply into your own eyes it has been a while since you have really looked at yourself this way,

Seeing straight through to your soul,

Seeing yourself for the first time in a very long time.

And although it may feel natural to look away,

To shy away from yourself,

You hold your gaze.

You really accept yourself in your full essence,

Acknowledging just how amazing you truly are.

As you look down at yourself,

Connecting,

Accepting and acknowledging it is time to reflect on just how far you have come.

You gaze down,

Still totally engaged deeply with your eyes and you say I am so proud of you.

And just let that soak in as you say it again,

I am so proud of you.

And just allow three things to come to mind that you are so proud of yourself for.

Feeling these things rise up within you and just listen.

Feel how proud you are of yourself.

Reflect for a moment on how far you have really come.

It is time to look backwards at your life to a while ago where your reality was so different.

Maybe it was a month ago,

Maybe it was a year,

Perhaps five years.

Just float back in time to the past and see how life looked at that time.

Start to recognize all the things that you are good at,

How you take such great care of yourself and the things that you do to help others.

You are gaining a sense now of seeing these attributes that you have cultivated,

Seeing how you have evolved in a way that has moved to who you really are right now and you are so perfect just as you are right now.

Really bringing into your awareness now just how much you have grown as a person,

How far you have come,

Just what you have truly achieved.

Allow these things to come through for you now as your internal light begins to feel seen,

Begins to feel acknowledged,

Begins to feel truly loved.

All of these things,

These qualities coming through represent you.

They represent your uniqueness,

The gifts,

The talents that you have within you right now.

Sometimes you have strived to become so much that you have forgotten just how far you have come.

As you look deeply into your own eyes on the still lake here today,

You celebrate all that you are,

All that you have become and just how special you truly are.

Knowing that it is normal that we all make mistakes from time to time,

Sometimes life is filled with so much busyness,

So much hurry,

So much stress.

Sometimes we feel tense,

We feel anxious,

Or that we have to constantly be doing on the move.

But in this moment you can let all these things go.

As you stand here quietly reflecting,

Let all these stresses flow out of you.

Let them flow out of you back to the outside world where they come from.

And as you continue looking down,

Connecting deeply inwards with yourself,

You offer yourself the gift of forgiveness.

Just say these words inside your head to yourself.

I know that I am always doing my best.

I forgive you for anything that has made you feel less than all you truly are.

And as you give yourself this gift of compassion,

Of forgiveness,

Just let three things rise now that you can forgive yourself for.

Somewhere you have told yourself to be better,

Where you've been too hard on yourself,

Or where you have let that inner bully control your thoughts.

Allow these three things to rise and acknowledge them with complete love and complete compassion.

Looking deeply into your own soft eyes,

You say I forgive you.

Feeling any emotions move through your body.

You don't need to do anything about them right now,

Just breathe and be.

Staying totally relaxed into any feelings or emotions that may be rising,

Trusting that transformation is underway.

As you gaze down at yourself now,

You notice just how magical this lake truly is.

You see not just your physical reflection,

But that of your essence shining through.

This light showing just how extraordinary you really are.

In fact,

You see this bright light reflecting on the water,

So bright that you think it would hurt your eyes,

But it doesn't at all.

Just observe that beautiful light that is radiating from within all the way outside of you,

Knowing that this light is you.

You are that light radiating from you.

You now look at yourself with different eyes through the lens of so much love,

So much appreciation.

Your eyes now see beyond your own reflection.

You sense a new harmony forming within.

You now are a new internal creation of peace,

So that your life can simply flow by taking the time to go inward,

To self-reflect on just how far you have come.

You can feel so proud of exactly who you are right now.

Feel how you are smiling on the inside.

You're smiling on the inside and out.

You feel so much love,

Complete appreciation flowing through your whole body.

And now say these powerful words to yourself.

I love you deeply and unconditionally.

I know you are always doing your best.

I see you.

I honor you.

I am so proud.

And just notice what you feel when you say these words.

Let's repeat it again.

I love you deeply and unconditionally.

I know you are always doing your best.

I see you.

I honor you.

And I am so proud.

You can feel the magic of self-love rising up in you right now and allow this to expand,

To grow until it is bigger than you.

As you see the self-love growing even further,

Expanding far out from your body,

Know that this kind of love uplifts all those around you.

They feel your love and you are doing so great not just for yourself but for those who you also love.

Allow a big smile to come across your face now as you celebrate all that you have been,

All that you now are.

Knowing that by loving,

Accepting and being so proud of yourself this is the first step to living a life the way it is intended.

On this magical lake you now have all that you need here today and in a moment it will be time for us to embark back to that elevator returning to the here and now.

Know that this reflection lake is here for you anytime you need,

Anytime you need to come to remember just how far you have come and just how amazing you truly are.

The elevator doors now open,

They are waiting for you and as you enter inside you push the button 10 to take you back to the here and now.

9 feeling so proud of who you are right now.

8 recognizing just how far you have come.

7 feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated.

6 acknowledging you are enough just as you are.

5 beginning to awaken up slowly and gently.

4 integrating and activating all the love and compassion that you cultivated here today.

3 celebrating all that you are.

2 letting some gentle movement back into your body,

Wiggling your toes,

Wiggling your fingers.

1 gently return your awareness to the present moment and when you are ready you can flutter your beautiful eyes awake opening your eyes full of self-love,

Full of appreciation for who you are.

As you awaken know that you have taken the time that you need here today.

You have paused,

You have honored yourself as the amazing person that you truly are.

So often we focus on what we're doing wrong or what we could do better that we forget to reflect on just how well we are doing.

I want to thank you beautiful soul for practicing with me here today.

Go forward full of compassion and just being proud of how amazing you are.
