This guided meditation is a gentle invitation to soften, settle, and return to yourself. Through slow breathing, soothing imagery, and compassionate self-connection, you are guided to release tension, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with your innate capacity for self-acceptance. You’ll be invited to rest with your breath, place a hand on your heart, and gently acknowledge whatever you are experiencing without needing to change or fix anything. From there, the meditation expands into a sense of shared humanity and loving connection, before guiding you back to the deeper remembering that self-acceptance is not something you earn, but something you were born with. This track is especially supportive if you are feeling self-critical, emotionally tender, disconnected from yourself, or simply in need of a moment of kindness and grounding. You can return to this practice anytime you need reassurance, safety, or a reminder that you are already enough.

And find a comfortable position.

You can either sit or lie down,

Whatever feels comfortable for you in this moment.

I invite you to close your eyes or softly gaze downward.

Whatever feels comfortable for you and just allow your body to settle.

Allow your body to feel supported.

Just take a moment to arrive fully in this space.

Letting go of whatever came before this moment.

Because there's nothing else you need to do right now except be here with yourself.

I'm going to ask you to just begin by noticing your natural breathing rhythm.

There's no need to change a thing.

Simply observe how your breath flows in and out of your body.

Notice the gentle rising and falling of your chest and belly with each breath.

As you continue breathing,

Gradually allow your breath to deepen.

And with each inhale,

Feel your lungs filling completely.

And with each exhale,

Feel yourself releasing a little more tension.

And just keep that going.

Until you notice that your breath has just naturally deepened.

Never try to force anything.

So with each inhale,

Feel your lungs filling completely.

And with each exhale,

Feel yourself releasing a little more tension.

Now I'm going to invite you to imagine whatever for you is a healing color.

And imagine this healing color surrounding you.

It can be any color that feels soothing for you right now.

And with each inhale,

Visualize this color flowing into your body,

Bringing peace and relaxation.

And as you exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension or difficult emotions as a different color.

Watching it dissolve and transform in the space around you.

Let's continue for a while with this healing color breathing,

Allowing each breath to bring more peace and release more tension.

When you feel ready,

Gently place one hand over your heart fountain.

And feel the warmth of your hand radiating through your chest.

And notice the steady,

Faithful beating of your heart that has been with you every moment of your life.

As you breathe with your hand on your heart,

Allow yourself to feel compassion for yourself exactly as you are in this moment.

If you notice any resistance or difficulty with this,

Acknowledge it with kindness.

You may say softly to yourself,

I know this feels challenging right now,

My love.

Place the other hand wherever you feel this difficulty in your body,

Offering gentle support and acceptance.

Just take a moment to simply be with whatever you're experiencing right now.

There's no need to change anything or make anything different.

Just notice your feelings,

Your sensations,

And thoughts with kind awareness.

Softly repeat to yourself,

I am safe right now in this moment.

I am protected right now in this moment.

And letting these words think deeply into your being.

Now,

Expand your awareness to include all those sharing this journey with you.

Feel the energy of loving kindness flowing between each person,

Creating a web of support and understanding.

Allow this loving energy to extend further,

Reaching out to embrace your family,

Friends,

And colleagues.

Feel it extending even further to those you haven't met yet,

Creating waves of compassion which ripple out across the world.

And notice how this love flows both ways.

As you give it,

You also receive it.

Remind yourself,

I am surrounded by love.

Remind yourself,

I can choose to give myself love.

And take a moment now to remember that you were born with an innate blueprint for your unconditional self-acceptance.

This capacity for self-love has always been within you,

Even if the connection has got ruptured,

Even if it feels distant or weak.

Allow your unconscious mind,

The wise part of you that knows how to heal and knows how to grow,

To reconnect with this original blueprint.

Imagine this pure form of self-love downloading into every cell and fibre of your being,

Like gentle rains soaking into thirsty earth.

Feel this loving energy of self-acceptance coursing through every cell of your body,

From the crown of your head to the tips of your toe.

Each individual cell of your body is bathing in this remembrance of unconditional love and self-acceptance.

Now just breathe that in.

This is your birthright.

You were born with it.

It's a blueprint that we all have.

And however distance it may have felt,

However fractured it may have found,

However difficult it might be,

To embrace the concept of accepting yourself,

Of loving yourself,

Of accepting yourself for who you are,

Please be open and willing to do this.

Knowing that this wellspring of self-acceptance is always available to you,

Ready to be accessed whenever you need it.

So begin to deepen your breath now,

Gently moving your fingers and your toes.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying this sense,

This renewed sense of self-acceptance with you as you return to your day.

And remember,

You can return any time to these feelings of self-acceptance by placing your hand on your heart and taking a few conscious breaths.

Go well.
