Hey there,

Just a fair warning that this meditation is a salty one,

So if that isn't for you,

You might find something else.

But if you're still here,

And if you've ever felt like the darkness is all you can see,

Or the fear is all you can feel,

Or maybe it's sadness,

Or rage,

Or despair,

Or whatever,

I just want to invite you to breathe.

So it's not going to solve everything,

It's really not,

And yet sometimes it is all we can do.

Whenever you are facing more than you can handle,

Whether that be darkness,

Or fear,

Or despair,

Or uncertainty,

When it has all gone to shit,

Or when it's more than you feel like you can bear,

Please listen to me.

I want you to remember one thing,

And no matter how much it feels like this is the case,

Still you are not alone.

You are not alone.

Deep down inside of you is something.

You can call it what you will.

A light,

A presence,

A knowing,

A knowing that you matter.

That you are this beautiful,

And maybe broken spirit,

But you matter,

And you matter,

And you matter,

And this,

Whatever it is,

Will pass.

I promise,

Because everything under the sun has passed,

So since that is the case,

May you find the courage and the strength to stay here in the present moment,

No matter what is going on.

Find the courage and the strength to stay here,

Alive.

Present,

No matter what the fear,

The pain,

The yearning.

Because while all that is true,

The other thing is you hold a light inside,

And you matter,

And you are enough,

And you are okay.

And more than that,

The world needs you.

Tomorrow needs you.

Trust your light,

And from there,

Keep it simple.

Breathe in and know you are enough.

Breathe out and remember you hold a light inside.

Breathe in and let your light be the answer to your fear,

Your grief,

Your pain.

Breathe out and let the shit go.

Breathe in,

Let light be the answer.

Breathe out,

And for God's sake,

Let the shit go.

Keep breathing,

Keep being,

Keep being gentle with yourself,

Keep close to the light inside.

Thanks for sharing this meditation. I am on the verge of losing 2 very special people. I am filled with so much fear about how much of a mess I will be when I lose them. I am already worried that I won’t ever get over my grief. You have reassured me that I will eventually be okay. I also suffer from 5 chronic illnesses and I feel like I will just slowly die from them. Have a blessed day . 🩷
