Let's inhale and let's exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Welcome to a hit of hope.

If your life is anything like mine or my friends,

You might be growing tired of all the new demands being put on you.

You might be tired of all the uncertainty.

You might be tired.

Let's inhale.

Let's exhale.

It's easy to remember all that we have to do.

All that is being demanded of us.

It's easy to remember because it's right there at the front of our brain,

Almost 24-7.

Inhale.

Exhale.

It's harder to remember our breath,

To go in to settle so that we can then meet these demands.

Inhale.

Exhale.

There might be a number of metaphors that you might be using to think about right now.

Maybe drowning,

Maybe a hurricane,

Maybe an avalanche,

Maybe being buried.

It's easy to see how those words and images apply.

Inhale.

Exhale.

So much is being demanded of us right now.

And at times it might be okay to curl up and stare at a wall,

To tune out,

To go in,

To grieve the big losses and the little ones.

They all matter.

We can be grateful and we can still grieve.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Wherever you are,

Whatever you are facing,

However you are struggling,

Just know that you are loved.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

And so much is being asked of you.

And so anything you can do,

Applaud yourself.

Hear yourself on.

Give yourself so much kindness.

Imagine that your best friend is sitting on the couch with you,

Even six feet apart,

Whatever,

But they're looking at you and seeing all the beautiful parts of you,

The parts that are doing the best they can.

Let that person's eyes of love pierce through all of the stuff.

Let that look of love crawl all the way inside of you.

And maybe there are some tears and that's okay.

And maybe there is some rage and that's okay.

And maybe there is grief and sadness and fear and that's okay.

See those eyes of love turned on you and your wondrous spirit.

It might be weak.

It might be struggling.

It might feel like it can't take this for one more minute,

Let alone one more day,

Month,

Year,

Who knows.

All of that is okay.

We sit,

We breathe.

We know that we are beautiful,

Incredible creatures,

Worthy of love.

And we have those around us who can look at us that way.

And if we are alone,

Then we can look at ourselves that way.

And you might say,

Oh,

I can't do that.

We can.

And we should.

Because we are all wonders of creation.

We are beautiful,

Incredible,

Amazing humans who might cry,

Who might struggle,

And yet who breathe,

Who live and who love.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Namaste.
