Within weeks, I will begin a new voyage decades in the making, and much as it is what I have wanted and needed for so very long, it is daunting and frightening as well.
As Steinbeck in his Rocinante, I will strike out cross-country for several months, seeking MY home, my bliss. accompanied by the pets and the silence, I will meet countless "me"s along the way. I will learn, I will unlearn, and I will grow. And I will have new stories to tell.
I will finally learn how to truly let go of clinging, and life will greet me with joy and bliss on the other side of that door.
